Former Philadelphia 76ers president and part-owner Pat Croce opened his pirate museum in the Florida Keys yesterday.

No scissors for this ribbon cutting. Croce used a replica pirate's sword to slash the ribbon at the Pirate Soul museum.

There are nearly 500 artifacts on display, including what Croce says are the only two authenticated pirate flags in the world. It wouldn't be much of a pirate's lair without a real treasure chest and the museum's got one of those, too.

Croce feels he and pirates have a lot in common. He says he approaches life in attack mode – no holds barred.
