FM - WTF?

Has anyone seen the computer take over control of some of your players? For example I have had offers for players turned down. I get the message but I never got the offer. And recently, my young stud left mid has been playing on the U18s requested a transfer and was granted it. I never got the request.

It is sort of annoying.

Check the options to see if the compute rmanager is controlling the contract offers for Reserved and U18 players

Is it possible that the board is taking control over finances?

The asst. manager is NOT controlling contracts and has not been for some time.

The finances are in great shape. We have a blance $315,000, big money for a Conference squad who was just promoted this last year.

Yeah, but that's bug money. In pounds that's like what, three, four pounds tops. No wonder your board had to step in.

Another complaint I have is the amount of yellow cards given out in the game. In no way does it resemble a real soccer match. The refs are also very biased toward human teams. I had seven yellow cards given to me in one half with two players being sent off while the other team was wanred three times for the same stuff my team did. It pisses me off.

Totally agree with you on this one. So very true.

There is a ref named Tony Green who hates my team. He sends one of my players off every game. It is so frustrating. The last game he sent three players off with tackling on "easy". Is there anyway to edit this? It makes the game no fun abd really losses its credit.

I had this ref for the last seven games of my season. WTF?

I believe you can edit the referees in the official editor. The transfer list by an unhappy player without your decision is a known bug.

I agree in general terms that too many cards get handed out. But setting to easy tackling isn't the only instruction that impacts that. Closing down instructions, tight marking, and player temperament all play a role.

The youth guy who is transfer listed isn't transfer listed by request is he? - for example he could be finding it hard to learn the new language (if he is foreign)

The player was listed by request. I do not know wha the complaint is, since I never saw the request.

I am also having a serious problems with the wages. My club has $400,000+ since I became manager and I still have a pitiful $4,800 p/w wage budget. I managed to finish 11th in the conference, despite most teams have two or three players whose wages combined for my total wage budget.
