New Girl
please welcome the newest member of the FOFC family...Hannah Logan Driscoll-Carignan. She was born Friday morning at 8:43. She was 8lbs 15 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long. Everyone is doing fine - we actually just got home about an hour ago.

Hey Congrats DD.
Hannah is a great name, and I'd think different enough to not have half a dozen of them in her class at school. Flasch is right though, she looks pissed. |

thanks everyone! a couple more pics...well, just because.
(and yes, I really WAS as tired as I looked in that 3rd pic - we never slept at all on Thursday night. We finally, after about 30 hours of being awake and, you know, having a baby, got a 2 hour nap around noon the next day - this was taken about an hour after that) also, the traditional pic of hairy old me snoozing...

The pic of the big brother kissing her and the one pic where he's holding her in the first post are just too cute. He'll protect her, you can already see this

I'll let my wife know. We were already about 99% sure 2 was going to be it, especially when we found out we were having a girl. Probably one of the first things my wife told me after the delivery was "that's it. No more".

I have really gimpy knees - the one thing I was hoping beforehand was that I wouldn't need to be on my knees during labor. and, of course, about 3/4 of the time, that's exactly what I was doing - kneeling on my knees. For a long time, I was on my knees next to the bed - my left hand was on the baby heart rate monitor on Christine's belly, the right arm was under my wife to apply pressure on her back when the contractions set in - I certainly had the easier of the 2 jobs, but man was I sore (and tired) afterwards. thankfully, it was a relatively quick labor.
