Getting an error message when I try to install FOF...even the updated 5.1b

This is the exact message:

C:\Windows\systems32\autoexec.net. The systems file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the application.

What's the problem? I have had the game installed on this computer before.

Check the Solecismic FAQ. I believe this exact problem is addressed there.

Well. An 'Autoexec.Bat', as opposed to an 'Autoexec.net'.

"autoexec.nt". I'm guessing the guy who posted mis-typed it.

I apologize. It is "autoexec.nt" not "autoexec.net".

hukarez, I took your advice and downloaded the XP_fix.exe file and it worked. I got it all installed. NOW, I'm trying to install the license, but this is part of the error message I'm getting:

You have installed all of the licenses for this product to which you are entitled.

What do I need to do now? There's no way I'm purchasing this again.

call e-license, they should fix it for you if you explain the problem.
