NFL Playoff predictions

You can be as specific as you would like. I see it shaking out this way:

AFC Championship: Steelers over Patriots
NFC Championship: Falcons over Rams

Super Bowl: Steelers destroy Falcons

As a side note, it was hard to pick two teams in the NFC that I liked. I think that St. Louis' season ending win was emotional enough to give it a lift over the Seahawks and Eagles in the playoffs, but I see Mike Martz doing something Martzian and costing them the NFC Championship. Pre TO injury and two game mental slump, my NFC pick would have been the Eagles in a laugher.

You know, maybe I am being a bit of a typical fan, but I think the Rams might pull off a couple of upsets. The Rams match up well against the Seahawks. Then would be able to beat the punchless Eagles (the Rams D has been playing much better as of late). Then, against Atlanta, they beat a younger team on guile, provided Mr. Martz doesn't get nuts. The Rams played Atlanta close earlier this year until they imploded in the 4th.

Ya'll are nuts if you don't think the Vikes are primed and ready to go! Randy Moss started prepping 3 seconds before their last loss, so you know he's going..

Ah fuck, who am I kidding?

That's exactly what I was going to predict. Eerie.

I really wouldn't even mind that.

Mine:

AFC Championship: Steelers over Patriots
NFC Championship: Eagles over Falcons

Super Bowl: Steelers squeak by Eagles.

Of course, you all know it will be the Chargers and Eagles in the Super Bowl. Don't kid yourself.

I'm sorry Warhammer... but the Rams? Ever since Mike Martz took over the team, they've been absolutely cursed. If they go passed the first round, I'll be shocked.

My prediction before the season even started was Colts vs. Eagles with Colts winning the SB.

I hope I don't eat these words, but I'm going to say it. The Packers will not beat the Falcons. The Vikes? Maybe. The Packers? No.

That would be nice and I really hope it happens, but I don't see them getting passed the Steelers... that's a tough one.

It is funny doing these predictions. In the AFC I could see any of about 4 teams in it. In the NFC, I really don't see any of them in it.

I'd love to see the Eagles win, but I don't think it's going to happen with TO out.

My pick? Patriots vs. Falcons Super Bowl, with the Patriots winning.

I initially said Steelers, but the Patriots have the system down pat (no pun intended)

Plus, I love Dillon.

My pick? Steelers vs. Falcons Super Bowl, with the Falcons winning. Roethlesberger gets hit with the Marino Curse.

That I would like even more. Actually, my dream would be the Falcons blowing out the Broncos. Revenge would be sweet.

I wonder if Martzian will eventually make it into normal everyday usuage. I almost hope he makes it to the Superbowl and chokes just so it does.

The Super Bowl winner will be whoever wins the Colts/Steelers game.

I was in Vegas earlier this week and saw the SB Matchup odds. I really think that the Rams will win the NFC but did not remember to place the bets on the 4 possible matchups for the SB. They were going off at 20-1 (for STL/PIT, STL/NE) up to 65-1 (for STL/NYJ). Maybe I can do this online?

Aren't you glad you didn't do this?

Everyone who had the J-E-T-S, and the Rams can sit down.

I think the Falcons are going to knock off whoever they're playing next week. And I think the Colts/Pats winner takes down the Steelers.

I really like the way you think. I'm not so sure the Falcons survive next week. This week means nothing next week (the Falcons can't bring these points with them, and the Steelers can put their near miss behind them). The Birds look hot, but I think people are really underestimating the Eagles because of TO is out.

Well, those who predicted the Colts and the Vikings, you know the drill...

I'm perfect so far, but I hope I got at least one wrong next week (and on the NFC side. I think I'm more likely to be wrong on the AFC side).

I got 3 out of the remaining 4 correct to this point, but, I had the Packers in the super bowl. Whoops.
