Nascar Sim Racing

anybody know anything about this new game by EA called Nascar Sim Racing that coming out for the PC

A new NASCAR Simulation is on the horizon. For the first time, EA has moved development for NASCAR PC racing games to the Tiburon Studio in Orlando, FL to focus exclusively on building the ultimate racing simulation. For 18 months, a dedicated team built up of NASCAR gaming veterans from the top shops (including Papyrus, Monster Games, and ISI) has been focused on creating the ultimate simulation for the 2005 NASCAR season. Not only will the game offer the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Racing with the new season and points structure, but the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Busch Series will also be included.

its looks pretty good that new game that coming out

but the best Nascar game for the PC

is still Nascar Racing 2003 season by sierra (Papyrus). Most realistic Nascar Sim available
a lot of the real drivers use that game today
and its has so much mods and stuff for it. Online is great on it too..

you can get it cheap still like $9.99

It's probably their attempt to make a game like Papyrus' Nascar Racing series.

that one is awesome and the best still..Nascar Racing 2003 season by sierra with Papyrus Involve..

If I'm not mistaken, many of the designers from Papyrus now work for the darkside and are involved in making this title.

I really liked the on-line play of Nascar Racing from Papyrus over the years. If this game turns out to be any good, we should get an FOFC on-line league together.

Makes me feel a bit better about this, but I still don't really trust EA to make a true succesor to the Papyrus Nascar games. Here's hoping...
