Player position changes....

I wanted to ask guys if this is something they have seen, because I can honestly say that I have not until today.

An owner in the Imperial League who was hurting at RB, had a big preseason game from his FB placed as the starting RB. So the guy went ahead and switched his position to RB. What he thought he was supposed to get, what his game showed him he would get, did not come to be when I put the exports through.

As just a member of an MP league, I have always my position changes come out as my game showed me they would once the commish actually put it through. So I was just wondering if this is something I have just not come across yet...

To see the player cards before, what the owner thought was after, and what he really became view the in the link and scroll down a bit....

I think it is built in for the position changes to be a gamble. Looks like he lost this one.

Yeah, Cringer, I have found that in the few position changes I have done in MP, the ratings bars you see right after the switch bear no correlation with what the guy will end up with. And for good reason - everyone could try the switch first, if it goes bad, don't send it in. Can't do that in SP because its instantaneous. I find the only true guide is the info posted just before you make the change.

My guess is when the guy went to do this, it probably said to expect him to have 60 percent of his ratings, and significant reduction in experience - and that is exactly what the guy got.

Yeah, I guess it actually told him 37% and he still did it. I just had it in my mind that what you saw was the way it would come out, but as was pointed out to me, I probably thought that way because I have never done a change in MP in which there was much of a loss anyways.

I've noticed it drops at least 10-20% when you make the switch. Most of the time its not worth doing.
