Where? What company? Do you have a link?

I don't remember hearing anything about it, but that doesn't mean I didn't!

Yep, read up on it yesterday, but didn't look interesting to me. If you play the demo, let us know what you think.

Looks like hockey paperdolls!

Lots of detail, but I haven't seen an ingame shot, at least from the screenshots. I can't figure out what the game is trying to do.

I too would be interested in a demo review.

I've had a look at it, I'm not a hockey expert - but it seems an reasonable game to me (although if you hated European terminology in EHM initially then this has the same sort of stuff - but translated from an originally German origin), basically the Hockey equivalent of TCM ... not as in-depth a sim as NHL EHM, but has a 3D match engine.

I downloaded the demo over night and tried out the game. Overall I can see that the developers really put a lot of effort into the game, but I just couldn't get into it. For one thing, it uses a lot of the european terminology and setup. One cannot even choose Canada as the GM's nationality to start the game. The 3D engine was a good idea but it wasn't well executed here. Even though I wouldn't say the graphics is horrible, in fact, it is not half bad, but nothing compare to EA sports or any of the big name companies. The gameplay in the 3D engine is just horrible, the players seem like mindless drones just skating around and some of them weren't even going towards the puck. And there isn't that much variety in the players' movement, therefore it got boring awfully quick. I personally think this is an interesting sports management game, the graphics were fantastic, but I can't see this game being better than EHM since the only thing that EHM doesn't have compare to this game is the 3D display and IceHockeyManager didn't seem to nail this anyways.
