Thumbs up Good Luck with Finals!

Just a good luck wish to all FOFC'ers taking final examinations during the coming weeks.

Work hard, study, and remember that sleep isn't optional. And a celebratory drink is always necessary afterwards, good or bad.

I have my first law exam on Wednesday. Four months of torts class captured by a 3 hour, 2 essay exam. It is therefore and thereby reasonably foreseeable that I will negligently consume large quantities of alcoholic beverages on Wednesday evening, so be advised that you should steer clear from my zone of danger. Although from my casebook, it would appear that I will be safe from any dangerous situations as long as I avoid barges and railroads alltogether. But I digress.

Good luck everyone!

Well, Butterfield v. Forrester suggests that it may be you who needs to steer your "zone of danger" away from me, bub.

Good luck!

I got three finals on Monday and another on the following Wednesday. In my American Federal Government, I have to write a six page paper on the independence (or lack) of the military, press, and courts inregards to the federal government. Joy!

Also, I have to finish my "volunteer" work (paper due day of finals) for psych class.

Our finals don't start until next week but I've already completed a final paper for my Poli Sci class and a major presentation for Sports Marketing. Good luck everybody! Next semester will be my last!

Thanks!

I had on Monday (Conflict of Laws), then I have one next Monday (Law & Unconscious), Tuesday (International Human Rights), Thursday (Securities Regulation), Friday (Food and Drug Law), and the Monday after that (Deferred Compensation). AND I just bought KOTOR II. My life is going to suck next week .

I have my first one Friday afternoon (Community Property) followed by Employment Law (Saturday afternoon) and finishing up with Sales (UCC2) next Monday.

This being my last year, I can not find any motivation to really hit the books hard and am crossing my fingers hoping I don't flunk out with a semester to go.

Good luck to everyone.

For the first holiday season ever, I have no finals to take. Wow is this strange...

Good luck to everyone else -- I know this can be a stressful time.

Well, that was a damn time trap. 3 hours my ass. I started writing and poof, 5 minute warning. The dean told us if we think we aced the exam, we probably failed, and if we think we bombed, we likely did well and covered what was supposed to be. If that's the case, my score will allow me to start practicing tomorrow....

It is reasonably forseeable that I will not leave the pub today. And to think, I paid 30 grand to feel like this

It gets better, doesn't it? I mean, it has to...

Good luck to those who have finals remaining,

Me, I have a regular test tonight and on Friday, and then a Diff. Eq. final on Wednesday, followed by Comp. Sci. I on the 21st in the morning and then Modeling & Analysis of Uncertainty final in the afternoon. Fortunately, I'm carrying a pretty good A into Comp. Sci. and an extremely strong A into MAU (101.5 test average!!). Diff. Eq., I need A's on each of the last two tests to get an A, and I need an A on my Physics test tonight to get an A in there.

Again, good luck to everyone!

College and Finals go hand in hand is what I believe we were making a reference to. Of course Im sure both of us would rather have just the college life back.

Good luck to everyone taking them.

I wouldn't say I miss finals, but I have some fond memories of some of them. It was after the last finals in December 1992 that I went with a group of friends to have a few beers, celebrate the end of another semester. In that group was the future FrogWoman... We've been together since then

Yeah, there certainly are good times. But, anyone who really loved college had some pussy major and was either drunk or hanging out with friends a lot more than some of us.

Take that, first semester law school finals! You are no match for the powerful exponent gods. Be gone with you!

Now we'll just see how those grades turn out....

I had the first "real" exam of my professional career - my first full-blown trial as lead attorney, a two-day job last week representing the plaintiff in a $1.6M lawsuit (nonjury). Not one of those slip-and-falls, either - more like a contract interpretation case with about 10 years of negative history between the parties. That's why I haven't been around much in the past month or so.

I'm not the trial type, but I think it went pretty well.

Well, I got all four of my exams back in the mail today. I got an A- (92) in English Comp I, an A (94) in American Federal Government, a B- (82) in General College Math, and an A+ (97) in Intro to Psychology.

Not shabby for my first semester in college.

3 finals down, 1 more to go (just "Great Books", shouldn't be too tough, just don't feel like writing for 2 hours). The only exam I've gotten back is my Econ "3rd Midterm" which I got a 100 on giving me an A+ for the class. It's a shame that the 4.00 total GPA listed on my grade report right now has nowhere to go but down and most likely will by the end of the week.

Our grades are posted online. One of my profs posted the marks and everything was fine. Two days later, after everyone thought they knew what they got, we receive a mass email telling us that 'the software' screwed up and the marks were wrong. There wasn't much of a change on my end but some people got royally screwed.

Only taking 4 classes (one of which had a group project for the final, and that's done). That leaves one exam on the 5th, the 6th, and finishing up on the 10th. Then.......

I'm a college graduate.

The problem with being a graduate is that everyone wants you to have experience. They are going to make their decision this afternoon.

I sat around all afternoon yesterday waiting to hear from them. By about 5 I figured it was a "no" and that I could expect to find a letter in the mail in the future. By 6, my wife and I were pretty bummed and decided to go for a drive. I got up to grab the keys and the phone rang. It was them (6 people interviewed me) on speaker phone wanting to offer me the job. I accepted (so maybe this school thing does pay off) and begin working June 1.
