Equilibrium (movie)

I picked this movie up yesterday and watched it last night.

Interesting movie - sort of like the Matrix meets Fahrenheit 451 meets the Demolition Man. I thought the acting was good and the action decent. The message was a little heavy-handed but it was overall a pretty good flick. Anyone else see this?

I saw it a few months ago. I thought it was a good movie. I enjoyed all of it. Loved the concept of the fighting, the society, the colours in the movie. Everything. I have no idea why this was straight to DVD. It seemed like they had a budget. They even had some name actors. Does anyone know why this was straight to DVD?

I couldn't even find it at Blockbuster. I had to buy it to see it.

Picked this up awhile ago at Best Buy for $9.99. I wish it was a bit longer, and had a few more action scenes, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It got a minor theatrical release. I would wager it got a small release because it wouldnt have made enough money likely to offset the costs of giving it a major release. It appears that Leonardo DiCaprio was linked to this project at one time.

Just caught this for the first time last night....Loved the movie...one of the better ones I have seen in a while, and the cast is decent....to bad it didn't hit a major release or such...

The concept was pretty cool...the fight scenes and GunKata were the shit!!
