A Deeper Understanding of Football
I consider myself someone who is pretty knowledgeable about the game of football. I understand the basics pretty well, I know the difference between a Fly route and a Slant route, and other such things. But I also know, as a Canadian who grew up playing primarily hockey, I don't know a lot about the finer details of football. I never played the game in High School (something I regret to this day), so I have not had any first hand experience with it.
I find, lately, that I would like to learn a lot more about the game. Maybe learn it well enough to coach a young team or in high school some day. My question is, how do I go about doing that? Are there any real good books to read, etc? Anyone have any advice?

The New Thinking Man's Guide to Pro Football by Paul Zimmerman was mentioned in another thread.
