Madden Tailgate Party.
My local EB games which just opened less than 2 months ago is having a "huge Madden Tailgate party for all who preordered." The party will consist of "madden tournaments, drinking, eating, and having fun" from August 6th to the 10th. On the 10th, all who have preordered will get Madden "earlier than anyone else who didn't preorder."
I'm wondering if this is EA sponsored? Are other EB games doing this? Anyone seen their EB games or gamestop doing this? Maybe it is the new store trying to drum up business, but seems expensive to do without EA helping out.

My EB is having the same party thing, as well as holding in store tournaments. Only problem is I am not buying Madden this year. I will most likely be sure to give it a mid-season rental though.

They had this at the local gamestop last year BUT the truck blew a tire in Chattanooga and the game didn't make it till the next day! Talking about some hostile people...
