Angry What is so HARD about mailing a response!?!?

Our wedding is in 2 weeks, invitations have been out since the last week of March. RSVP date on the invite is April 30th..

Out of 150 people, we have responses from 60...

What the hell is so hard about filling out the response and dropping it into the mail. There are only 2 lines to fill. # of people and dinner choice. Thing already has a stamp on it...

Now this weekend, I'm going to have to place a bunch of calls to find out what peoples intentions are.

!@%!%^!#^!#!!!

Wedding planning is soooooo much fun.

Your RSVP date isn't even for two days. Hard to get mad until at least Friday.

Not if they sent the invitations out a year ago. If that's the case, no wonder he 's pissed.

Doh! No.. last week of March. Fixed the typo.

Actually, if it was the last week of May last year, I could see why people didn't respond.

Well, if the 90 remaining people don't respond, can FOFC come? We'll keep ourselves in the back of the hall, probably playing a small poker tournament.

You didn't leave a whole lot of leeway in your schedule did you? I would have sent out reminders to the slackers a few months ago. I also would have double bagged that. I make an excellent wedding guest. Plenty of stories. Like ABC said, if you have room...

Edit: it is open bar right?

Heh... beer, soda and wine. We couldn't swing the price of a full open bar. Beer selections will be Miller Genuine Draft & Hacker Pschorr.

Mmmm. Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest is one of my favorites. Not as keen on Hacker Pschorr Weiss, but it is still tasty.

I was thinking more of Corey Haim only to have Corey Feldman speak up at the last moment. The two duke it out and bloody each other so bad they both end up dying and saving all of us from future 'B' movies.

I got nothing.

Every time I think of these guys, for some reason I wonder what happened to that other guy from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure... Keanu Reeves went on to have an inexplicably lucrative career as a bad actor, but the other dude faded to bolivian... or something...

Hey, myself and my wife sent out like 150-200 invitations and only got 50 or so back.

40 people showed up to the wedding. Twice that showed up at the reception for the free food. Damn rednecks.

Wedding planning is soooooo much fun.

Just so you know, it doesn't end there. Even when we got responses back, there were a good 15-20 people who said they were coming that didn't show. "Hm, that would've saved some money had we known..."

Our wedding was a great time though...and in the end I actually thought it made all the planning worthwhile. I hope yours turns out the same way.

# Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) .... Bill S. Preston, Esq./Granny Preston/Evil Bill
# "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures" (1990) TV Series (voice) .... Bill S. Preston, Esq.

# Rosalie Goes Shopping (1989) .... Schatzi
# Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) .... Bill S. Preston, Esq.
# Haunted Summer (1988) .... Dr. John William Polidori

Funnel. What the hell is a funnel. On spring break we met these girls from Kentucky and all they could say was that they were funnelin' beers.

NO. IT'S A BONG AND YOU BONG YOUR BEERS.

He's a writer director now. Not exactly bolivian but not as visible as a bad actor.

So, let's recap. You meet girls from Kentucky on spring break who are getting drunk off their asses, and all you can think about is how it should be called a beer "bong" and not a beer "funnel."

Opportunity is so tragically wasted on the young...

I wouldn't hold shorty up as a shining example of youth. Let's see: funnel, check. Tube, check. What happens when you put your mouth on the end of the tube and suck down what's being poured down the funnel: Funnelin'. The misnomer "beer bong" degrades us all.

Maybe the cooky kids tried to light the beer on fire and inhale the beer fumes...

Actually Simms, I'm going to guess that it is a reference to the Mike Tyson misspeak in which he suggested "fading into bolivian" or something to that effect.

When in doubt always trust the 18 year old kid from Ohio's opinions about beer and all things related to it.

It's a fucking funnel.
