Did you kick an onside kick late or what? If you had any balls you would have went for two points.

They threw an interception with like 3 seconds left. I tossed it up one more time with no respect, and my man brought it down in the endzone for his fourth TD.

dola

By the way, the last QB to disobey my direct orders and for no reason threw the ball 30ish times in a game became a running back. For some reason he couldn't be a punter.

Ramsey, the guy that had 322 receiving yards, is out for the season by week 11. 71 catches, 1404 yards on the season in only 10 games. Damn.

No banning is needed. I suggest a special area of the penalty box for rehabilitation for all duck-and-chuckers.

shorty is obviously calling for help here. He knows the first step to fix the problem is admit there is a problem.

Now now. Running the ball is a perfectly acceptable thing in the game of football. It's what you do after you catch a ball thrown to you.

Heh. You scored 1 passing TD and 2 TDs by interception return. 21 of your 41 points had nothing to do with your running game. I'll take the 600-yard 52-point offense any day (especially if I can pair it with your defense that scored twice...)

All I know is that if the ball goes in the endzone, it's good. If it doesn't, it's bad.

EDIT for quality spelling

I run the ball so much I had a guy get 21,000 rushing yards in one of my games.

He's still not done, but in his 11th year still rated a 68 by my scout.

heh it's a lost cause 'Dog

Passing the ball ad nauseum wins chicks, ewwwws and ahhhhhs and sets meaningless records that no one remembers 5 years from now. Running the ball and stopping the run wins championships.

So his average yards per carry is something like 99, then?

Later in the season, I score 42 in the first half and end with a 56-7 thromping. Tornberg tosses 7 TDs for a record in the league, all this despite my star WR's injury.

We go 15-1 and lose in the conference finals.

In the NFL, sure. In FOF, it actually takes all 3. I don't think I've ever won a championship without a solid QB, solid RB, and solid defense.

Just in case you didn't know, this whole thing is really a ongoing joking feud on FOFC. Some of us old fogies like to play smashmouth and the younger guys like throwing at will.

You can win with either approach in FOF, it's just all for fun and getting the other groups goat.

PS Thanks Fritzy!

Joke??? Who said anything about it being a joke??????? These youngsters are threatening the very fabric of this great nation. This passing game began to come to prominence in the 60's and 70's, right around the time we lost our first war. A coincidence? I think not. This is a matter of national security, thank you very much.

Hey, hey, I'm on the running side here .... I'm 23!

Why must I be an "old fogie"?!

hmmm you are right... I will replace old fogie with old school... forget I said anything! It was that other guy.

I agree 'Dog. In fact the inception of this abortion of the great game has led to the decline of western civilization.
