FOF 2004 - No Inflation
Is anyone playing FOF 2004 without inflation? If so, are you running into any problems?
I'm playing a historical league, starting in 1970 with a $25M salary cap and no inflation. The problem I'm running into is that players are still looking for more money on the back-end of their contracts. Thus, it's making it harder and harder to keep 46 players signed for each season without having to renegotiate contracts and take an even bigger hit down the line. I know that this occurs in RL, but I'm wondering if having NO inflation is a bigger detriment in this scenario (and therefore some type of self-inflicted house rule). Thanks! |

I'm playing with no inflation, but think the cap choices I have to match up quite similarly to what happens in RL and like that I always know the relative value of what I'm paying for when I sign someone.

I play with no inflation and think it's the cat's meow.

I despise avatars, but I would change my mind in an instant if you would use that as yours. |
