Moe Williams, FFL, Yadda Yadda

I'm lucky that I happened to trounce my opponent in our FOFC Yahoo! league this week, because otherwise I'd be pissed that Moe Williams' TD didn't count for fantasy points.

Can anybody remember two highly visible TDs by offensive players that didn't count towards that player's points in FF? Did they happen this close together? Man, it's nasty.

What's the official ruling on the score? A rushing attempt? a return?

There's been 3 crazy (fantasy football) plays in 3 weeks:

The McCardell return touchdown
The McMichael fumble recovery of his own teammates ball for a TD.
The Randy Moss-Moe Williams lateral.

It's been removed by ESPN. Yesterday, in the Box Scores, they credited Moe Williams with a receiving TD. Today, no TD at all.

It didn't count in your Yahoo league? It did in mine (as a receiving TD). Weird.

That's three weeks in a row of strange scoring plays: McCardell, McMichael and now Williams.

It counted for me, as well.

He was credited by the NFL with a receiving TD. Why would ESPN not count anything?

Interestingly, I have all three of the players in question on my one fantasy football team.

Moe now is credited on Yahoo! for the points, but he wasn't early this morning. Weird.
