Come to New Orleans. Some of the "professional" female impersonators on Burbon Street are scary they look so much like hot women. It's amazing what makeup can do.

96rock last Friday gave that overblown Madonna/Britney MTV Video Awards kiss another 15 minutes by posting a billboard on I-75 near Marietta with a photo of the kiss and the line, "Their music stinks, but we'd do 'em."

The rock station has received at least 10 complaints, said Scott Baker, director of marketing. "I knew it was walking the edge, but I didn't feel it was completely overboard," he said. Nonetheless, he expects the billboard will be replaced this week with a generic 96rock ad because the impact "has run its course," he said. "Some people didn't want to see that again after seeing it on the cover of the newspaper and on TV."

An earlier item in the AJC this week mentioned that the billboard would be coming down after complaints. Seems the 96Rock'ers knew how to get their free publicity -- they put the board on I-75 in Cobb County, arguably the most conservative part of metro Atlanta.
