Grand Forks Question

I go there once every few years with my sister and parents, to see what them United States have that us Canadians don't... always in the summer, and it's been on both weekends and weekdays... however, EVERY mall, store, street, etc. always seems so dead! I don't know if Grand Forks just has a very very small population, or if they don't like going out or something, but could someone from Grand Forks, or been there, let me know if this is normally true?

I'm not saying anything bad about Grand Forks, it just seems that I never see anyone in the 16-22 age range out.. no hot girls to look at while I shop.

Grand Forks has died since the flood in 97. The town falled to plan for a flood that hit every city to the south of it(the river that goes through it flows north) and should have known with record snow falls, the water would go somewhere. But now is college season and things should be better. The malls are not very good, most come to fargo that I know, but the bars are good places to pick up drunk norwegian blonde girls, perhaps the dumbest and easiest species of girls in the world. They beleive in nothing and have no fear of peanut butter and love tossed salads.

Damn. I should have gone up to Grand Forks instead of over to Detroit Lakes when I flew to Fargo last week.
