SUV's prevent terrorism!
Jesus told me. Well it may not be Jesus, but a man on the side of the road who very well could have been Jesus so I am not going to risk him actually being Jesus and not listening.
Anyway, Jesus told me that if it weren't for SUV's and other oil consuming cars, nearly the entire economy of the Middle East would collapse. For whatever reason, tourism wasn't brought up as an option to bring in large sums of cash. Now, I am not a smart man, but I assume Jesus is, and he said that a broke Middle East would be worse than one that is doing just fine Money wise. Now, to all the smart people out there, what would happen to the Middle East if oil dependant countries were suddenly over the next 10 years to become not so oil dependant? For me, I say God Bless the SUV!

We can do what we believe is best for the greatest number of people, which he refers to as "ends-based thinking"; or we can follow our highest sense of principle, which he terms as "rule-based thinking"; or we can turn to the Golden Rule which he refers to as "Care-based thinking." The difference about that third, as he sees it, is that it leads us to confront the humanity of those with whom we are interacting, upon whom we are having an impact.
In truth, we probably need to have a repertoire which includes them all. If I could change every pump and every station right now to charge $8 or $10 a gallon(or at least comparable to most European equivalents). Take these resource hogs and joyriders off the streets while cutting down on emissions and smog by 50% - so be it.

Looks like that guy wasn't really Jesus after all. Just some drunk on the side of the road waiting for a Big Mac Extra Value Meal Supersized with a Coke. Odd really.

I just saw Jesus a little while ago, he drove past me in a Hummer (I guess that answers the question). I've seen God before too, he drives a Semi (has his name in big bold letters on the side).
