Question PC Gamepads?

After seeing this beautiful NHL 2004 demo on my pc, I think it's time to get a gamepad.

What do people here use for their PC to play games (gamepad)?

This one looks good.

Thanks for the help!

Todd

Also, I use the playstation Dual Shock for the PC. You can buy an adaptor at Radio Shack for about $10 "US) dollars.

It's early, but EA's offering is really impressing me thus far. I can't get too much into the game with my old gamepad, but the AI is outstanding and the puck moves realistically, FINALLY.

The game plays totally different from last years so far, the CPU team actually sets up plays, shoots the puck in, etc. As usual, the game is beautiful to watch, but gameplay might be a major upgrade. Also, the franchise mode should have a good 'immersion' factor, too bad it's not on the Demo.

Cool.

It has USB support and when you ask them tell them what you are looking for (Playstation controller adaptor for the PC).

The reason why I say that is because from my exp, Radio Shack has a bunch of losers working there. (No offense to anyone working there now but I have had issues with those people).

Logitech Dual Action is really nice, I know it has only been out a month or so but I've been having a blast with it and it's nice that it is designed like a PS2 controller. Price isn't bad either.

Yes, the Logitech DA was the one I was looking at, but for $10 less I can use my ps2 controller.

I've not tried that but I know that in some cases that I have read about the buttons don't map out the same. Some of them are switched from what the comtroller says but most guys have just gotten used to it.

Thanks, if that's the case I'll take it back and get a Logitech one.

I have read about nor have I had any issues with the PS adaptor. In fact, all the Madden users that I know use it (most of them do .... anyways). However, that is not to say that problems do not occur but like I said, I have had it know for about 1 1/2 years and I have not had any issues.
