Is this cool or tacky?
Tonight I decided that I wanted to check out how my old high school is doing in football this year. So I headed over to the Rocky Mountain News website. The page loaded and then I was hit with this pop-up.
So tell me, does anyone really think this is honoring the victims of 9/11? I just find it incredibly tacky and disrespectful. If the liquor store had wanted to do it as a tribute that would have been fine, but slapping their name all over it irks me to no end...

Well, many of the 9/11 things you find on the internet are incredibly tacky, but this one definitely is rather disrespectful as well.

All it's missing is the slogan, "Drink 'til you can't remember anymore."

We have a commercial on the radio out here for a guy who is a DUI attorney. The commercial basically starts by saying he wants salute the cops and policemen as heroes of the world who protect us. He then says that he protects people from Drunk Driving convictions. Every time I hear the commercial I think he sounds like the biggest douche bag on the planet.

Well, if you want women to want you, then you have to be both cool AND tacky.
