Norton Antivirus users
I have a home version of Norton Antivirus 2002 that came with my Dell pc.
My question: Can I use this NAV software on another pc I have at home? Meaning, can I load it onto another pc and used it since I have a paid copy from my other pc? ... or do you have to buy NAV for each pc you want to use it on? Thanks, Todd |

Norton used to (Norton 2K and earlier) work on multiple machines and the only limitation was that it only worked for one year regardless of where you installed it. I assume it still works that way so you should have no trouble. Legally it is still software piracy if you install it on 2 machines, but IMO it is a "smoking a joint" level of piracy. Let your conscience be your guide, then set and forget it.

Thanks for the help, I think it has to go online to register, so I was thinking it would know I already have it installed, although maybe not.

is the 24.95 (less than one month of SBC YAHOO DSL) going to break your budget to register a second copy?

just get AVG.
it's free. it's reliable. it's less clunky and intrusive than Norton or McAfee. did I mention it's free?

Yes, it might break me. My DSL is $44.95. I was just wondering if I could use it on both pc's. If I buy a game for my pc, I can use it on both, I wondered if Antivirus was the same.
Thanks DD. Todd |
