My preference, of course, would be that this could be resolved without resorting to technologicla means... but in this environment, that might be folly.

Does she walk does she talk - J. Geils Band/Centerfold?

I've Got My Eyes On You - Robert Plant/Hurting Kind? (probably not, that could be anything)

"It's poetry in ..." makes me think of Thomas Dolby's "She blinded me with Science. But the phrase is "It's poetry in motion" and I don't think there are two words that follow to "complete" the phrase. Any thoughts?

Ok, if we fill in the blanks, that would give us:

I'm not aware of too many

Or would we "drop" the "of" to give us:

I'm not aware too many things

Just thinking out loud.

I think "Standing in line..." is from one of those cookie-cutter Red Hot Chili Peppers songs I couldn't possibly identify without use of the net (which will occur at some point, I'm sure). Any help?

I'll offer this much - there's nothing special about six. No need to get tricky about trying to fit certain phrases or anything into the remaining spaces.

That's the first thing that comes to my mind. I can't recall the next line though. I think the one after that is "deep as any ocean." But there's a missing line. And in fact, I don't know if I've ever been able to figure out what that line is. In my head, it sounds like a jumble, and I think that's how he sang it.

If you, whose cd collection would make most radio stations envious, feel this way then I think we're in trouble.

Ok, this makes me think it might be the song title that we are looking for. This would be consistent with some of QS's other puzzles. (Use the clues to find the title, then manipulate the titles to solve the puzzle.)

I'm not much of a RCHP fan. I think it's one of those ballads that all sound the same.

And most of my CD collection wouldn't make any radio stations envious. They don't play what I typically listen to. I'd put them out of business if they were forced to play songs solely from my collection.

Just what I was going to say! It hit me.

So did John Fogerty's Centerfield:

We have a ton of ABBA fans here (me NOT included). I seem to recall a song called Watch Out (know your enemy). Anyone know the words.

There's always: You better watch out, you better not cry...

Alright, I'm (almost) officially out of ideas strictly off the top of my head. Plus, someone just walked by my office as I was trying to figure out possible lyrics and gave me a strange look.

There are two on the list that aren't what I had in mind, but you're probably well enough along that you'd eventually figure that out even without the overt hint I'm giving here.

Ok, since we had mentioned it, I checked on She Blinded Me With Science and it DOES start out...It's poetry in motion.

Oh, and KSyrup, here are the initial lyrics:

It's poetry in motion

She turned her tender eyes to me

As deep as any ocean

As sweet as any harmony

Dola... I think "You Could Have" is from 'Sledgehammer' - Peter Gabriel, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was you could have in the first line.

Ok, since we brought up the song, I did verify Sledgehammer:

You could have a steam train

You could have an aeroplane flying
If you bring your blue sky back
