I had no idea
so, I'm reading the E$PN article about MLB announcing new licensing information.
One of the 7 companies partners listed as primary revenue generators is Drew Pearson International, and I'm thinking...can this be the same guy. Is this old '88? Can't find solid info (lots of dead links), but I did find this blurb "Between 1973-82 Drew Pearson enjoyed a brilliant career as wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. After his successful working life he started the licensing company Drew Pearson International and today DP is the world's larget license manufacturer of caps and hats" I'm blown away - I had no idea. Anyone else able to tell me the story on this? Sounds like he's had a tremendous amount of post-football success.

I know he does own a company... or did a few years ago. My guess is this is true.
