Text trouble

OK on my e-mails and on some Web sites, I'm getting text in italics rather than in plain format. This just started happening. Anyone know what the problem might be and where to fix it?

Hahaha, seriously. All my e-mail is in italics, so are some online news stories and a few Web sites.

must be those damn Southwest stewardess/hacker hybrids getting their revenge on you for standing them up at the Hard Rock.

You might have to reformat your hard drive and start flying JetBlue.

Hehehe ... I still fly Southwest with hope I'll find those hotties again. I screwed up when I didn't send that commendation letter to good old Love Field (SWA HQ). Ah, damn.

mrskippy -- always blowing it with the hotties.

But seriously,

anyone know why my text is italicized. I'm sure it's just some system settings somewhere.

I don't think I did. Where do I check this? Perhaps I hit a key combination of some sort and that sent it out of whack.

If you are using IE, something you might check is text size under the view menu. My roommate changed this to large on me once and it drove me nuts until I figured it out.

This is why you should be using Mozilla Firebird.

OK The text problem I describe is in IE and Outlook Express too. So there has to be a font setting issue somewhere that is making certain text italicized.

The microsoft shortcut to change font to italics is 4 ! in a row. 4 more will go back to normal.
