Yay, FOOTBALL is back. (The OTHER Football, that is)

Watched most of a live French League game, on FSW yesterday.

Cambridge United (my division 3 English team that I'm a loyal fan of) begins in a week.

The Italian Super Cup is today..

Football is BACK, and my DirecTV's gonna be locked on Fox Sports World ;-)

yes, but on FSW, there is a two month period with no footy except for Brazillian, which is no fun to me because it's such a cynical game.

That is a dark dark time my friend. I want to know I can turn it on at just about any hour, sit down, and watch a game or two or ten

The team I follow, Telford United FC in the Conference, has had a good off-season bringing in a lot of players and followed that with good on the pitch performance in pre-season. I don't know if odds are out yet but there is talk about a push for league status.

The fact that I know any of this speaks volumes about the greatest of CM...

Yup, for some odd reason (I think CM helped) I got attatched to the U's, and follow them from afar. I got their premium website subscription last year so I could listen to their games over the net, and as a member of the supporters club, even got a christmas card signed by some members of the team

(need any more proof? My AIM is:CambridgeForever)

Soccernet has a rough guess on how things are going to play out in the lower leagues in England:

Go Carlisle United!! (Thanks to CM again)

That's cool. There was a kid from my school who - I think - left early so he could play for them. I think his name was Russell Lawes - maybe he sounds familiar to you. Or maybe it was Luton he played for ... He joined as some kind of an apprentice, which as far as I know is a way for kids to get onto a team. I'm sure that the other English guys on this board could correct me there.
