The 80s were probably the years I remembered the best but I really don't know/hear lyrics and never watched Breakfast Club - thus the low score. |

I got the silver cube. Rank: Brat Packian. I missed about six because I was clicking too fast. Of course, I got two because I accidentally clicked the right answer. Last edited by oykib : 06-24-2003 at 09:41 PM. |

75.
(same message as oykib). I am proud that I only got 1 wrong on the 80's music (and that amazingly involved one of my favorite groups)

74. I don't know whether to be ashamed it was that high or ashamed it was that low.

I got a 64 as well. Music was my strong area, TV my weak one.

Really disappointed on that one. Music hurt me.

80. I only missed three in the music section, but I've never watched a lot of television so that dragged my score down.

I only scored a 52, but the 80's were ages 2-12 for me, so I didn't expect much better. My music knowledge was really bad and TV not much better... I think I got all my points on the potpourri and movies.

84 - Brat Packian (Not bad…Are you sure you’re not related to Molly Ringwald?)
Missed some here and there, I think mostly in the movies section. |

I got a 74, but rallied after doing pretty poorly in the TV section. I got all the music questions right, with only one guess.
*sigh* |

Well, Since I spent my entire teenage years there, and most of that listening to the radio or watching TV:
I'm such an 80's reject |

If I may be a little critical, I think this quiz was not balanced enough. There is no way that 5-10% of the questions should be just on the Breakfast Club (and closely related topics). It seems that has become the cliche (or defining movie) of the 1980s and being 20-30 during that decade, I really don't think it was, imo.

I got a 77.
Could've been a few points higher if I went with my first instinct.

I agree with the Breakfast Club, it was in there WAY too much...it was also a movie I was 'Restricted' from watching in the 80's (saw most of it eventually). Also too many Family Ties and Alf questions. Maybe the honorable Bucc would have done better with more questions from The Big Chill |

No, The Big Chill was little above me (mainly early-middle boomers, I'm late boomers). I liked the Family Ties and Alf questions since I got all of those right but I really fell down on the cartoon ones, like Transformers and stuff. I was still watching the classics like Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner.

I know, I was just joking The cartoons were right in my wheelhouse (though I watched WB cartoons too), and most of TV should have been...I actually missed an Alf question! |

76. A little disappointed in myself, considering that the 80s were much of my formative years (ages 7-16).

56. Bombed on most of the TV questions, and I wasn't really interested in music back then. Movies (aka Breakfast Club Trivia) and Potpouri I damn near aced.
This was a biased 80's test, for one reason and one reason alone. ZERO questions about Nintendo and/or Atari. |

79. Thought I'd bust 80 then they through in a bunch of questions on movies I either never heard of or never saw. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" the movie? And way, way too many Family Ties questions.

Not bad for someone who was born in the 80's. I think most of my points came from the cartoons questions. I think I scored 2 points on the music questions.
