CSMB

I havent seen this posted yet so here goes.....

"Wednesday June 12th-
Many owners felt the excitement of CSMB. They loved the game, and then in October the CSMB beta closed. Withdrawals followed for many CSMB gamers. Now after months of rework and a new name we are approaching the time when all will be right in the world again. We will be contacting former CSMB managers in the coming two weeks to help test out with the SimGM beta test. We are tentatively planning to start teams off with a full fledge fantasy draft the week of July 4th. While we could push this back a week, that is the week we are shooting for.

What’s been happening lately? We have been working out many kinks in the system. We put in scheduled promotions the other day, allowing teams to schedule fireworks night, cap giveaways, etc. Owners now can spend money scouting various parts of the world. So it may cost $20million to scout japan. Those players then become available in the world wide draft, and only teams that scouted that region will get to see them! We also have been working on getting in extended stats like Win Shares, PX, SX, etc. We are working hard on tweaking the stats and financial engines to the point where we are happy with them. Just this week we ran into Yankee-itis, every team ended up with 150 million-dollar payrolls. So we are working hard to pull it all together.

The message boards are up and empty, drop by and say hello."

College Small Market Baseball - it was a decent web-based sim, but a little too complex for my tastes. The pro version looks to be cool though.

I don't imagine there exists a link to this site, or anything of the sort...
