No worries, I'll grab some pickup games in Ranked and catch the next one.

Kill some stunties for me.

I think the gobbos are effectively AV6 due to stunty...

The Ogres are not as bashy as you would think though. However, once they get up in experience, I think they could wind up being overpowered as well.

they are aV7 , but when you break it they get the +1 to injury rolls, so they're more fragile

Playing Airhog now. Have made about 10-15 2db's. 4 of em were double skulls (1 was RR'd, the other three ended turns)

Edit: And we're in turn 4.

KatonL I'd offer Skaven/Dark Elf, but dinner's arriving shortly (pizza), plus your Delvies are getting beaten the farooq up. If I even thoughtr about Dwarves/Delfs you'd come through the computer and smack me

Definitely. The team's actually in pretty good shape for having only nine people - a lot of people either at or near their first skill - but til I get the numbers back up I'm going to stick to easier/less bashy opponents for them (read: NO RAT OGRES ALLOWED!).

I wouldn't mind playing dwarves with my undead team. Just not the Dark Elves, at least not at the moment.

I don't have anything in particular going on this weekend (apart from starting to study for midterms, but that's not a major issue yet), so I'm certainly going to be available to play. I'm not planning to sit at my computer for two days straight, but I should be around a fair bit - it's too cold to go outside much.

Well, I was able to spectate a nice game earlier. I think I have the general idea of the game anyways. Once my orc team is approved, I am going to play a game for fun. May be tomorrow night though, since I dont know how long this is gonna take

You weren't that bad, actually, apart from the whole protecting-the-passer thing. Just remember: NEVER leave the ball-carrier by himself in your half. Not unless you're completely sure none of the opposing players can get to you.

Fix that problem, and it's a 1-0 game.

I misjudged that second to last move before you scored to make it 4-0. I planned to hail mary the ball, and go for broke. I should have counted out the moves, to make sure you couldnt reach me...

GG SF, I couldn't talk earlier because I was hosting Magic Night, but people just left and I wanted to make sure that you had my condolences on my thrashing of your jinky little elf team 3-0 at the hands of my brutal Chaos Dwarf team

The third one also, where you had a lineman in space down the flank and you could've thrown it to him. Not that he was any better protected, but a loose ball in my half beats a loose ball in your half.

Just finished a late dinner. Triple cheeseburger from Mr. Pizza - a quarter pound of beef, three cheeses and it's amazingly yumtastic. In the wake of my feast, I am sated by but willing to sit here and play another game of BB if anybody wants some....

I was referring to the Elves vs the specific Elf teams. Cheaper by 10k, but with 7 AVs. Ick.

I play Magic: the Gathering. In Magic, this is known as the "mana screw whine." It's when someone didn't draw enough lands and died without being able to cast their best spells. This is the mana screw whine of Blood Bowl I suppose.

Tell em' about my bad luck. I rolled three dice and got two skulls and a double skull on a big guy, so no reroll. I also started the game with half my team stunned from a crowd invasion when only one of his players went down.

I do have one question. What is the extra bit on the die? These dice are six sided, right? There's only five results, so which one is printed twice? My guess is the push back arrow, but I don't know for sure.

yup, there are two pushes on the dice

1: POW (defender pushed back/ Knocked over)
2: PUSHBACK/POW (Defender pushed back knocked over unless he has dodge (tackle negates)
3-4: PUSHBACK
5: POW/SKULL (Both Down unless has block)
6: SKULL (Attacker Down)

EDIT: Personally, I'd prefer to get a game in with my Darkies, but I understand if you want a slower team to play.

My undead are coming along nicely. Two mummies now, after spending my winnings, and one of my wights rolled a strength upgrade. Don't play us if you're afraid to get hit .
