I don't think this thread will ever die. It will become a perpetual thread. When people can't think of anything to say, they'll bring back up this thread, or maybe start talking about something random to bring it to the top, maybe CTown will alert us when he "plays army" with his gf, or perhaps when he breaks up with her, or maybe when he asks for her hand in marriage. The possibilities are endless. This thread will never die.

Lo, then morning came on March the 3rd, 2001 and the Lord spoketh to the world that there would be written a posting in the land of such perportions so as to give men pause and to maketh the girls weak in the knees. To ease the troubles of lost souls and hopeless libidos, from fingers of the prophet Ctown-Fan came a message to make men's minds wonder: "How Long To Call?".

From afar the responses came and went and filled the afore mentioned post with hope and joy, ever drawing more attention in the hope that through heavenly means the prophet Ctown would win the heart of a young lass and woo her to such an extent as to make the sheep as docile as lambs - and muster the shepherds not to thinketh any longer of nasty thoughts.

But the time extended futher and further and the post refused to die. Yea, longer than the patience of many of the FOF faithful. But Ctown did quell their anger with good thoughts, and he did give them fruitful updates on his noble quest, and he entertained the downtrodden with festive dances of joy - not unlike those of Sammy Davis Jr.

Soon miracles were reported by newcomers to the post: Broken bones healed themselves in the post's holy presence and impotant men were blessed with potency anew. Evil mens' minds were unbent. Water was made to be wine. The lame were pronounced hip and all your base did belongeth to us. And although they did not understand, the newcomers did readeth and smile with delight.

The joy continued until May of 2003, when the ten-thousandth poster did crash the system and the world erupted into flame. So sayeth the Lord.
