Are they reviewing it because there was no whistle? Because usually, in the NFL, I thought calls like that were unreviewable.

So if I catch the ball and stand still for 10 seconds, can it still be called an incomplete pass if I drop it?

From what I've seen in this game and other NCAA games this year, the NCAA definately does not have the same rules about what plays are reviewable as the NFL..

Actually, I think what saved him is that he didn't move. He caught it, but seemed to be bracing for a hit, fumbled, and it looked like an incompletion.

If that was a fumble, then so was the Ohio St one that Zibo returned for a TD for ND.

I dunno, probably a good call... the ball shifts positions in his hands enough that you could make the argument that it was bobbled - probably not indisputable evidence.

Sure...if the 10 seconds happen during an instant replay slo-mo.

fwiw, i think that call could have gone either way... it's just the officiating overall... i don't know that i've seen a game with this many reviews/missed reviews....

Good stop. If Lendale can help us eat some clock and we can get 1 more TD, I'll feel good about the outcome. Let's go offense!

My argument is with the "football move" criteria (if that's what the refs were using). To me, it was clear he had clean possession of the ball with two feet on the ground. Fumble.

UT clearly has their "finesse running" set to 100 tonight. It gets pretty goddamn annoying after a while.

My Dad's complainin' about a few different calls...but calling that "incomplete" after a review is utter BS.

My initial call was incomplete (dad thought fumble), but on the replay, it looked pretty goddamn clear to me. If that play gets reviewed, it has to get overturned.

The game is absolutely not over, but Texas is going to have to find the defense they had in the first half if they have any chance. Going to have to stop USC in no more than 6 plays on their next drive.

Edit: Missing that FG earlier really hurt.
