I think it'll be in that range as long as Barkley isn't a disaster.

I think so too, and I'll be shocked if he is a disaster. He's showed some amazing improvement against what will likely be the top defense he'll face all year during the months of practice. With the weapons around him, he should tear it up today.

Eh... Williams ran a slow route.

By the time he was open, Paulus already had to scramble.

Yeah, but that means the play was dead. You can't take a risk like that in OT.

Nothing to be too happy about, but it would have been somewhat of a nightmare to go into the new stadium on such a low note.

Already 7-0 UGA over OkSt, an easy 80 drive to open the game. Cowboys with 3 penalties for 17 yds in the first 9 minutes

GT wins 37-17 giving up a late TD. 3 turnovers, too many yds allowed against this caliber opponent, actually trailed TOP by a couple of minutes.

I know they played a lot of people with the Thursday night game coming up but I'm not all that impressed by anything other than Dwyer and other than the first play of the game he had 6 carries for 21 yds.

And what was that people said about Nevada going to give Notre Dame trouble?
Somebody might want to tell them. 14-0 Irish, Claussen 9/10 for 114 & 2 TD's in the first 16 minutes.

TBH, I have no problem with Notre Dame as a school, or their players.... But I'm ticked the hell of at their administration and a lil bit at Weis...

I think Barkley is nervous and the turnovers have hurt, but the defense has looked good so far. I'm sure Barkley will settle down, I just hope USC can hold onto the ball better than they have so far.

He's about 6" but he won't be a QB in the NFL should he make it that far. This kid is flat out one of the fastest players in America though. As he develops he is going to be insane to watch.

Still seems short though...
6' on the official roster?
Then take of a couple of inches...

I feel he'd be better as a true wildcat back. He has a cannon, but doesn't seem to have a QB mentality.

Barkley with his best throw of the day. Absolute dart across his body. He is now 4 of 6 for 43 yards and looks to be settling in nicely as USC is inside the 5 for the first time today.

Edit: Next play Stafon Johnson runs it in untouched for a TD. USC up 7-3.

Much better play from Barkley after those initial jitters. He's now 6 of 8 and approaching 100 yards. Stafon Johnson gets his 2nd rushing TD of the game. 14-3.

Nice to see Allen Bradford finally get some carries. He just had a 43 yard rushing TD. Interesting rotation of the RB's this game.

I'm on a freaking rampage with Verizon's customer service right now. After paying for the OSU/GA game, the %&*^ing channel goes black right after the first quarter. Am now watching Oklahoma State's pathetic performance on ESPN 360 while yelling at my 3rd customer service rep.

I'd probably be a little nicer if the Cowboys could go more than a series without drawing a penalty.

OSU recovers a UGA fumble at the Dawgs 11. Then a penalty against UGA makes it first and goal at the 6 for the Cowboys...

Barkley just led the Trojans on a great 2 minute (well 1:20) drive to score again at the end of the half. Interesting to see USC using some shotgun for Barkley in the 1st half. Barkley is now 8 of 11 for 138 yards. McKnight gets this TD run (after a beautiful fade throw to Williams was defended by San Jose.)

Yeah Barkley has really settled in. I'm still concerned about what he's going to look like against a real pass rush, he's still a bit tentative and holding the ball a bit too long. But the run game is really clicking and this is without the best run blocker on the team. They should be even better with Byers back as the pulling guard and O'Dowd in the middle.
