I'll have to say... in my book that's a valid goal... HOWEVER, I prefer the premiership rules... in the rest of Europe that would have been whistled as a free kick to Portugal (as it was here). Goalkeeper is sacred.

The thing about Beckham is that he takes penalties the same way he takes free kicks, with his standing foot bent at an almost impossible angle. Unfortunately, penalties need a slightly less arced ball path than free kicks.
