I don't think a video game could duplicate that protection.

I guess the Jags do not realize that if you give Brady all the time to throw, he will be as perfect as any QB in the history of the NFL can be.

I went upstairs to watch the end of the drive and saw that the TD pass was one of those plays that would take a long time to develop. Good thing they gave it to him. Go Pats.

I think they're still parodying Jas_lov from the first game. I expect that to go on the rest of the weekend.

Oh, and this game is over.

what he said. Big drive here though. If they can hold them and get some type of points on the next drive.

I agree. I think they're jumping the gun here as there is plenty of time left. But the Jags just can't stop anyone and they refuse to do anything about Brady picking them apart. I just don't understand it.

It's like the Jags are playing a prevent defense the whole game. I really think their game plan is to hope NE makes a mistake or two because they can't beat them straight up. Contain everything and hope for a fumble.

Actually, I was being serious. I don't think a team can give the Patsies a two TD lead and expect to come back and beat them in the fourth quarter...

When your game plan is to wait for Brady to make a mistake....you need a new game plan.

Whatever happened to the Eagles "showing the NFL how to beat the Patriots".

If the Jags want to win, they'll need a long drive for a TD here and then an onside kick to retain possession. If the Patriots get the ball again and the Jags sit back, it's over. Big penalty!

I think that's the first time I ever saw a "late hit" call when the play wasn't over yet. (when it wasn't a QB involved)

When I saw it live it seemed like an OK call for me, but it was weird that they really didn't replay it even though Simms is saying it was legit - makes you wonder.

Big 3rd down play. a FG makes it one score+two pointer, but they really need a TD

Good call: They pulled that one out of the Pats playbook

FWIW, I feel like that should have been INT on Gay.

Good stop by the Pats. Now the Jags just need a Pearl Harbor onside kick.

Listening on the radio and I hear this... "It looks like he had, ah, Gay beaten."

That of course sounded like he said "It looks like he had a gay beatin'."

Just thought I would share. Yes, I may still be in the 2nd grade.

The refs seem to be letting em play, except for that one questionable roughing the passer call on Brady, and that "unneccessary roughness" call on Harrison for.. nothing at all

Ok, they've creeped forward (they can't afford another 5-6 minutes drive), time to go deep

edit: From my fingers, to Brady's ears, apparently

They are getting SO close to the Interception here

and Rodney with the Pick, and (anti-Pats) the Prick.

Was the late hit penalty on Samuel or Harrison? I didn't see what Samuel did wrong, unless it was for swatting at the ball.
