LOL. What about how Dallas blew a 21 point lead at HOME? The Warriors had a momentary lapse in a hostile environment. I really don't think Dallas can win in Oakland. It's too intense, and the Warriors are just too good.

Wow...Great game, the Warriors are a VERY fun team to watch even though I hate them right now lol. Maybe this will give Dirk some confidence going into next game, and my god, Devin Harris, Davis could not guard him if his life depended on it. I still don't know if we can win in Oakland, but if this doesn't give us confidence nothing will...And whats the record for most ejections in one series? Steven Jackson has really got to be one of the most arrogant players in the NBA, and he takes some of the WORST shots I have ever seen...Jason Richardson takes some pretty bad shots too....

Dola,

Just ugh, though. Dirk's threes were huge there. And then the Warriors quit going for the jugular, and wind the shot clock down and take a poor shot. Just a bummer, but I think this team is mentally tough enough to where they won't let this loss debilitate them. It does hurt, though. Dallas earned the win.

right, and that's why they are an eight seed. And don't give me the injury crap. The only reason they are in the playoffs is because the Mavs laid down for them late in the regular season.

The fact that they had a chance to make history and they blew it is gonna sit with them, I have seen this before in other sports. The weight of what they are doing is going to get to them and they will tighten up.

One other thing, why did Avery wait until the last 3 minutes of what could have been the end of the season to FINALLY try to get the ball out of Baron Davis's hands, and gee wiz look what happened they were completely baffled...It may not work next game but at least try it...And if GS does advance to the next round, I honestly dont think that Houston or Utah can beat them if they play like this.

How many points would there be in a Suns/Warriors series?

As far as #8 seeds go, Golden State is dangerous. They've had injuries and trades, and it's all come together for them at the right time.

Also, The Warriors may have very well beaten the Mavs in that last game anyhow - they'd already done so twice before. A few games before that one the Warriors out Phoenix-ed the Suns and blew them off the court too.

Tonight was definately their best chance to upset the Mavs, but being back on their homecourt should help them recover from their blues. I really don't know who I'm rooting for... I like the Mavs roster, but I can't help but get excited about the Warriors.

This smells a lot like the Lakers failing to kill off the Suns last year. I don't agree with what Lathum said about the Warriors being a crappy team, but I think there is a very good chance that the Mavericks win the last two games very comfortably. You don't lose an opportunity to kill off the favorite like that and then not let it affect the way you play in the rest of the series.

Umm yea. Better brush up on your NBA outside of what ESPN and TNT feed you (Spurs, Mavs, Suns, Pistons, Cavs non-stop). They finished the season 16-5 which also happened to be the only time they had everyone healthy at one time. Wins over Phoenix, Detroit, Denver, Houston, Dallas (twice), Utah, Washington with Arenas.

Now they have 3 wins over Dallas so far in this series.

They would have easily been the 6 seed in the West if they were healthy all season.

But they aren't the 6 seed. I actualy don't watch much basketball at all and listen to the talking heads less. My point is purely psycological. They had their shot and royaly blew it and they are gonna dwell on it.

Time will tell if I am right or wrong.

I don't think they'll let it get to them. The home crowd will help and they have to feel very confident that they can beat the Mavs there as they haven't lost to them in GS all year. If the Warriors lose game 6 they know their chance of winning the series is basically gone so I think they'll be up for it. Golden State will play the same way it has been the whole series and all season long. After they lost game 2 people expected Dallas to take over the series and it didn't happen. Maybe this time will be different, but I expect the same loose aggressive team will show up in game 6. Dallas may very well win and they're suppose to, but it won't be because the Warriors tighten up. But it's a valid argument with a young team that is a huge underdog that had the defending conference champs on the ropes.

There are rumors out there that Jason Richardson got into a fight in the stands with a fan after the game last night and may be suspended. Any of you Cali folks heard anything about that?

Again, the Warriors are facing possible disciplinary action from the league -- Jackson for getting thrown out, and Jason Richardson for allegedly tussling with a fan.

...

Richardson, meanwhile, is apparently also under review. He tussled with a courtside fan late in the fourth quarter, and according to a Mavs official, the fan has filed a report with NBA security and the league is investigating the incident.

Asked about the skirmish after the game, Richardson was hazy on the details.

"I don't know what happened," he said. "It was in the heat of the moment."

Only player I know anything about from that foreign list is Yi Jianlian, who gets my vote for the 2007 'Player I'd Hate My Team to Draft' Award. The guy is anywhere from 20 to 24 years old, 7'0 230lbs PF/SF from China who can apparently shoot the ball and run a little, and is also apparently a top-5 pick this year.

I'm not really sure, though if I had to guess I would say yes. The only reason he didn't play last summer was because he was injured... :\

dola, in his 22 minutes logged, he's bound to set this game as his best for the series.

8 points, 2 blocks, 2 steals, 3 assists, 4 rebounds.

14 minutes left in the game.
