Argh- these are the weeks that really burn me up. I could have had 103 points, but instead I leave 36 on the bench so instead of coasting to a comfortable win, I'm hoping Eli trips and falls on his way out of the tunnel tonight and can't play so I can hold onto a 4 point win.
It's one thing if you don't have the players. It's another if you don't play them SI

*grumbles* 52 points? Really? Unreal...I drafted him in another league, but dropped him after a couple weeks. D'oh...

I left Darren McFadden on the bench because of his "only 70% comment" and he has the game of the year. Terrific.

Setting up for a good finish tonight. I have a 1 point lead with Nicks and 27 has Steve Smith going. In other games the Insomniacs should get 4 points from Eli easily to pull out the win. Vicks Heros is down 17 with Miles Austin going so a decent game from him could get the win for MV. |

so Isiddiqui mailed another one in...3 guys on a bye, and hasnt logged in to fleaflicker in 9 days, which means he didnt even bother to check to see if he won or lost last week.
i would like to think that i am pretty understanding about real life distractions, and if you miss a week once in a while, i am going to be the last person calling you out, but three guys out at a time can easily ruin the whole league if it is against a team in the playoff chase. i vote to find a new owner. |

Yeah, I hate to come off as a dick, but how involved are you when you can't find the 4 minutes in a week to change your lineup. No offense to Isiddiqui, but I think maybe it is time for him to step down. I know this is a free league and not to be taken to seriously, but as fantasy goes I think this one is as active as it gets and would hate to see someone screwed because of this. |

Tell me about it!! Green-Ellis going against the Vikes, I figured it's better to play almost anyone else. Looks like I don't know football. Combine that with leaving Sims-Walker on the bench in another league (although I can still win), and it's not a great fantasy week for me. |

And yeah, it takes 4 minutes like someone pointed out to change your lineup. I don't want to force an ownership change either, but I'd like to see owners do at least the bare minimum too.

Hopefully it doesn't crop up anytime soon (as I don't want to wish anything ill on any of the current owners), but if/when you may be looking for a replacement owner, I wouldn't mind getting my name on the list, seeing as how spleen beat me to the punch on this potential opportunity.

I don't know if we have some sort of waiting list to go off of, maybe one exists and spleen isn't first on the list.

No official waiting list, but I believe that spleen has been waiting for about a year and a half.

One final chance for ISiddiqui. The next time his lineup includes a bye week or injured player... he will have to be replaced. Simple and fair to ISiddiqui.

It's getting late in the season and playing him is almost a free win now. His lack of activity can impact the playoff race. Why wait for him to do it again and further upset the balance of the league?

I kind of agree with this. He did it last season, when pointed out he did it this season he said he would try harder, then it happened again and he hadn't been on his team for a stretch of 2 Sundays the week after he said he would try harder. I dunno, just seems like he lost interest. He also had posted here since we have bumped this thread and no comment. I would hope he would step down if not interested, but he at least needs to visit this thread. |

Well, this is his seventh season in the league and I feel that he deserves a "third strike". I realize that real life sometimes gets in the way of a free fantasy football league and would like to give him one more shot. Having said that, it does only take five minutes to submit a lineup and the next week he doesn't submit a valid lineup, spleen takes over immediately. |

Looking at his roster for this week, he'll need to make a claim for a receiver to have a valid lineup for Week 9. With Moss in limbo and three others on bye, he only has two receivers. If he doesn't make a roster move by Friday... I'll consider that his resignation. Fair?

I think that is fair.
Again, apologies to him if it seems like piling on. FWIW if it was Saldana doing this I would be on the phone with him telling him to change his lineup or drop out... |

Yes it isn't about piling it on him personally but trying to keep the league as competitive as possible. It's just a free fantasy league, after all.

Yeah, go ahead and replace me. Since I can't get on to the site or this site during work hours, I have no time to really participate anymore.

Welcome Spleen, trade me your #1 pick for Cutler and Ryan Mathews.
Also, how do you feel about TE as a starting position? |

Thanks Lathum. I'm new to this league, not fantasy football.
TEs. I like TEs as starting positions. I know you guys were discussing this prior to the start of this season, but I don't know where you landed. If we are going to make TE a starting position, that decision should be made prior to the start of a new season, with it taking effect the following season. For example, if we want the rule in for 2011, it should have been decided prior to this year's draft. I think this is fair to all of the teams. If we decide now that this is in place for 2011, then the teams with the good TEs are an advantage some what. The other thing we could do if we wanted to make it take effect in 2011, is say that no TEs can be keepers and they are all in the pool for the 2011 draft. |

We have a period before the draft where we vote on potential new rules. The TE as a position rule lost a narrow race last year. I plan of dumping more campaign funds into it this off season.

Just to let everyone know, every player on my team is up for grabs. If you want someone that's my potential keeper (Brees, Jackson, Austin, and Alexander), they'd be harder to get. But everyone else is available for draft picks or package deals.

Thanks, MV, maybe Bowe adds a somewhat consistent threat at WR for us and just might give us that push we need to get into the playoffs.

Top 3 teams in each division make the playoffs, right? Kind of amazing there are four weeks left and we already know the three that make it from ours.

I'm going to argue that my team should be a playoff team, but stupid luck has me where I'm at now. Well, last couple of weeks have sucked so I guess that's that.
