Athletic Prestige is not what you think it is.

It is the measure of how skilled the current players on your roster are. The recruit in question wants to play with studs, and thusly the more good players you have on your team, the more appealing your school is to him.

Traditional school prestige is something I wanna add down the road.

00:10 SF Burt Ruff takes the ball for Palm Springs.
00:10 SF Burt Ruff sets up the offense, guarded by SF Philip Evans of Stone Mountain Tech.
00:10 SF Burt Ruff shoots and scores. Two for Palm Springs and the foul! (62 - 67)
00:10 Burt Ruff missed the free throw.
00:10 SG Peter Baker of Stone Mountain Tech grabs the rebound.

And with that nail in the coffin, we hold out to win 67-64 in a thriller.

Okay, that was pretty kickass. Pretty cool to see the game play out.

I don't see a way to see a box score or stats, yet. However, I know my C had a huge day. If I can find some players to surround him with besides our senior SF, we'll be a good team. It was closer than expected, but we start off with a nice win, 74-70.

Found the box scores. For those that haven't, click your team link on the left, then select Schedule. Then, click the score of the game you want to see the box and game log of.

Anyway, what a game by my Aggies! Battling Icy's Swordmasters, we hit the tieing jumper at the buzzer to send it to overtime. We pulled away and held on at the end to win 81-79. My backcourt had 45 points, with my senior SG hitting the game tieing J to send us to overtime.

Great game, CW. Thought we had you.

Loks like my PFs are my best players. Nice.

Dunno what I'm going to do for points from the wing. Maybe a shift in strategy...

Yeah, no-spoiler link will be crucial to my enjoyment of the game to be honest. If I'm just looking at final scores and not gamelogs (which will happen if I see scores first) it really detracts from my enjoyment personally.

Maybe if clicking "play by play" just automatically goes back to your most recent game?

My 6'8" 290 lbs. Center took control of the game leading the team with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks to take a 64-53 home win to start the season.

My team played about like I expected and it really all seems to have worked out like I hoped. I have no idea if Grand Rapids is a good team or not (and I guess we won't know who is good and who is not for a bit) but I'm definitely happy to start out with a win.

And...just as you looked, my hack for that is in.

There's a link on the nav called 'Recap'.

It's a carbon copy of your schedule, without game results. Clicking on that link will give you the play by play with the score/stats at the bottom instead of the top.

I guess I was too anxious to see the results

Thanks CW!

Eleven points down with seven minutes left, eight down with five minutes left, five down with a minute to play, and my lot *still* managed to win. By one point. At home to a team which didn't make any substitutions. With all our big men combining for a total of two points.

It's going to be an interesting season.

A well balanced offense (four players in double digits) pulls the District Stars to a convincing 76-58 defeat of MikeVic's U of M Bisons!

Can we get the turn-run schedule on the site somewhere? Or if it's there, a link so this dummy can find it?

Also, to field a question before it arises re: recruiting.

If you're heavily recruting someone and get the 'not very interested', yeah, you prolly shouldn't bother.

Moderate and especially light recruiting, you still may have a shot at 'em if you bump up your efforts. It's much harder to tell on the lesser recruiting, though. Those basically exist to pump some points into your second tier of recruits while you weed out your top boys.

Is there a way to get the info from the PMs onto the Recruiting screen?

Is there any way to gauge a player's interest before you recruit him?

Quiet you.

I looked at the league leaders quickly, and noticed that playres have 6 and 7 fouls... isn't the limit 5? Also noticed that a bunch of computer teams seem to play their starting lineups for 45 minutes? So they played them the entire game, and overtime?

Okay, new toy.

On your recruiting list, there is a new field, "Current Opinion". This gauges the level of interest the recruit has for you at the moment.

Values, from worst to best (and you cannot feasibly get to the top levels in the first week)...

unfavorable
no opinion
barely interested
somewhat interested
very interested
positive
very positive
highly positive
favorable
very favorable
highly favorable
worshipful

..speaking of 45 minutes. I assume endurance does play a role in performance?
