And Chilly starts the season off with a failed onside kick. This game should be pretty entertaining.

Not a bad selections of game we got to start the season in Scandinavia. Also looking forward to following the action on Twitter this season.

So I gotta know...do you get all the Vikings games?

And the first points of the first full Sunday of play are scored against ... yep, the Detroit Lions.

Wade will be happy. Derek Cox, of W&M fame, picks off Peyton Manning in the endzone on a helluva play.

Stupid commentator says "David Garrard threw it short because if he went long, he might throw a turnover or an interception." What kind of turnover would you "throw" that is not in interception? Idiot.

Some day, Derek Cox is going to say that in his first game, on his first drive on defense, against a hall of fame QB in their stadium, he got a pick when Manning went for a TD.

At what point does the league have to maybe consider taking control of the Lions for failure to field a competitive entry in the league?

Thankfully for the Lions, we have Calvin Johnson. As long as we have sucked we have had an amazing player to distract us from total ineptitude. First Barry, and now the Megatron. We'll be fine eventually but there is no talent on this defense at all.

At his current pace, Brees will throw for 1200 yds & 24 TD's ... today.

Next season once we draft Suh from Nebraska and another DL in the 2nd round we'll have an adequate D.

And nice pass from Stafford to Megatron.

Panthers with a 8 minute drive to start the game that ends with a nice cutback TD run by DeAngelo Williams.

Hey now. I think Stafford will be very good, and Calvin can do no wrong as you know. I still cannot fathom how good he was with Reggie Ball as his QB at GT. Unreal. How did GT even get him and not UGA?

Don't like the toss play on 3rd and 1. Smith is going to be a very good RB but his speed to the outside is not his game. Still, a good drive. Stafford looked very good.

I always hate that play on 3rd and short. Why throw the ball 2 yards back and make it a 3rd and 3?

CJ is a fairly classy & intelligent guy, his college choice was pretty obvious.

And Stafford can't lead starving dogs to fresh meat (no pun intended), he's ultimately a bust looking for a place to happen. He'll put up some numbers on raw ability but he'll never lead a team to a winning record in the NFL even after he leaves the Lions.

Exactly. Maybe if you have a guy who is a pure speed back like Reggie Bush, it makes sense, but not with a between the tackle runner. It hurt them because if he just gets stuffed up the middle I think the Lions end up going for it, but that became 4th and a long 3 instead.

Eagles get hit with a BS interference with the fair catch call. Demps was pushed into the punt returner.

Delhomme with a fumble on a sack, the Eagles recover it and run it in for the defensive TD. 10-7 Eagles lead.

People say there is a problem with rookies getting so much money ... I have a problem with Jake Delhomme getting as much money as he just did this offseason. He is so bad.
