Well, I screwed up with the Angelina Jolie gamble. Hopefully I can pick better from this point on. Having said that, I was very unsure of which of my picks to go for. My next pick is playing a little out of position, but I was sure someone might take him in another category before the decades that will pass before my next pick. However, it is an undeniable fact, as evidenced by his sworn vow of matrimony.

Interesting choice. I expected him to top the list of appealing to younger women. I guess he works here too.

probably, but it is easy to second guess.

I have a feeling if you took everyones stable at the end it would be very hard to determine who was picked where except for some obvious choices such as Monroe number one overall, oh wait..

I doubt it, but that's the gamble you take.

I also think (hope) most of my picks will be available in the 10th round. Of course, that may not be a good thing.

that Don Juan pick was a real cockblocker because of who it took out.

Because for the fictional characters, that also knocks out any actors/actresses who played that role.

Jennie Finch is one of those people that we all agree is really sexy because ESPN told us so, and nobody bothered to actually look at her.

Oh, and also she's usually surrounded by softball players.

I think of the available female athletes she's a very good selection. I don't want to be part of a debate over who the hottest tennis player is or whether picking an underage high school athlete is creepy. I also don't want to be docked points for picking a man when I didn't have to. Female athletes, outside of tennis players, are generally a different body type than most celebrities.

Well that's an odd rule. You should be voting on the character, not the actor playing the role.

If the category is fictional character, and the character itself has a high sex appeal then it should be fair game - Lara Croft, for example (video game version) was the poster-child for sex in the video game industry and shouldn't be disallowed just because the hottest person alive played her in a movie.

This could've cost you the contest. You mis-slotted her and should've put her at "Appeals to Younger Women" and picked another chick for the men.

Just tuned in and I'm amazed that the person I would pick #1 overall is still around. I'm pretty sure she's been alluded to a couple of times above, but still available as of now. Crazy draft. I think some people don't know what sex symbol even means???

Nevermind. St.C. rendered my original post moot, I think.

I would add that there are a number of picks that are making me ask "who the hell is that," which surprises me.

It depends. If the question is, "Did Johnny Depp ever play Don Juan in a movie?" then st.cronin should definitely rule on it. If the question is, "Does Angelina Jolie actually appeal to older men?" then it should be left up to the voters.

Also, Danse Macabre would have been a stronger pick at 1.1, I think.
