Because the BCS put these two together and said that Auburn and Utah didn't deserve a shot.

I don't think either of those teams would do much better against USC's play tonight.

Any team that just doesn't turn the ball over would be making a better game of this. I'm not saying Auburn or Utah would beat SC, but surely they could keep it something like 21-7.

Auburn has a much better defense, and Utah might be able to not turn the ball over on command.

And part of that is great pressure by the defense.

I'm starting to think Stoops might get the choke rep at OU. Yes, they beat FSU in that yawner a couple years ago, but even that was tainted because many folks (myself included) felt Miami should have been playing them, and felt Miami might have beaten them in that game. Otherwise, other than beating up on Texas just what top 10 quality team has OU been able to beat?

So since the #2 team in the nation can't keep up with the #1 team, you want the #3 or #X team to try? Why not just go down the list until someone can beat them under ideal circumstances?

I'm thinking that whatever draft stock Jason White had is sinking very fast.

You really think Jason white would get past the medical exam in the combine without being red flagged?

With his acl being held together with duct tape and chewing gum

Nope, just every undefeated team should get a shot. Actually, a good 8/16 playoff even better.

Halftime show

Announcer calls this the "Biggest Jam of the New Year" with Kelly Clarkson and Ashley Simpson. My God, music is really gonna suck this year if this is the best that can be found.

OK, Anyone else catch the shot of the anarchy symbol next to Kelly Clarkson. Are they aiming for irony or is this just really bad marketing?

What happen to the college halftime shows?

Marching bands. Atleast they have talent. The Rose Bowl still does it right with this part.

Bad design all around. Nothing says anarchy like heavily coreographed dance numbers.

That's it. They really need to make me in charge of all halftime shows for championship games in NCAA and NFL.

I would change the channel, but I have the morbid curiosity to see if Simposon screws up royally, SNL style.

That, I absolutely agree with. They should have like a band competetion during the bowls, and the best bands play in the Super bowl.
