I may be mistaken, but I think that, if Arkansas holds on and beats LSU, only Alabama and Florida will finish above .500 within SEC play. That is pretty hard to believe in a 12-team conference.

With the 20 yd TD to win it, I believe Hardesty gets a career high 179 yds rushing to go with his 3 TD's.

UW lays a beatdown on WSU. We looked good after some initial kinks and starting slow. I really hope this wasn't Lockers last apple cup.

Nwo there's the Georgia we've come to recognize. Late hit about 5 yards OOB trying to bodyslam BeBe through the sticks.

Closelined with no call and they finally call an obvious late hit tons of yards out of bounds. Haha. Jesus Christ.

Nesbitt/Dwyer combine for a fumble, Georgia recovers a fumble for only the second time all season.

In all honesty, I think the gap in talent & ability between the top of the ACC and the barely middle of the SEC might really be every bit as wide as it appears tonight. This is purely embarrassing.

Small calls like the the LJ saying the LSU runner was out of bounds (when he was downed in bounds) is big right at this moment.

Stupid TO for Arkansas. LSU's FG team was rushing on the field so they could get the play off in time. I would've rather let them kick the FG under those circumstances than attempt some weird psychological "freeze".

I dunno, this looks more like just being manhandled by a grossly physically superior team instead of the more typical playing like shit when a game actually matters.

We've been flat, and we have no backup QB worth the name (disappointing to me to see how bad Shaw looks), but it's not like the Miami game where we could do nothing right. The offense is relatively okay with Josh in but the defense ought to be taken off scholarship if not taken out back & shot outright.

At this point today the ACC looks like a glorified 1-AA conference.

4th down and 4 for LSU, FG unit out, but there is an injury on the field. Looks like he twisted his knee pretty good there.

The man's name is Jaybo. That alone is worth having him on the roster.

38-30 ND in a game probably only Stanford fans really care about since everybody assumes Weis is gone.

You're on your game tonight, Jon. Just an embarrassing night for the ACC.

I was disappointed in Shaw earlier. Watched him as early as high school at Flowery Branch and also with his time at GT. He seemed like the best #2. Now I'm not too sure.

Hell I thought he might challenge Nesbitt for the starter's job when CPJ was hired. Now he's lucky if he gets to keep his jersey afaic, his brother still at Flowery Branch might be better at this point (4 TD's last night, including a game winner in the final minute)

Didn't his brother already commit to USC-E?

Nesbitt 1 yd sneak (after a pass interference call in the end zone bailed out the Jackets), cuts it to 30-23 with 7:49 left pending the PAT ... and while I'm typing now, pending the replay review.

Andrew Luck is pretty awesome for a freshman.

Gearhart (sp?) just threw a TD. Stanford and ND are knotted up after the conversion at 38.

And the TD is reversed despite the lack of a conclusive replay. Even the announcers noted that the ball disappeared & therefore a conclusive replay was pretty much impossible.

edit to add: Nesbitt gets it on the next play

Not that anyone but me would notice but I find it odd that the ND/Stanford game is using Big East Officials. The Pac Ten is/was the only conference who demanded that their own officials be used for ALL home OOC games.

Everybody in the fucking stadium knows that a first down run is coming & yet we can't manage to find the tailback to tackle him. 339 yds rushing for Georgia AND STILL COUNTING

Wommack shouldn't even be allowed to clean out his own fucking office, worthless son of a bitch.

Conventional rules do not apply to Notre Dame.

Interestingly, the BE stands to potentially make money with a Notre Dame loss, as it would eliminate them from Gator Bowl consideration and lock up the bowl and it's ~$2-5-million payday for the BE.

Walsh misses a 55 yd FGA, still 30-24 Georgia with about 3 minutes left. That's only his 2nd miss all year.

3rd & less than 1 and Dwyer can't get the handoff from Nesbitt again, another fumble so it's 4th & 1+ with 1:53 left.

Incomplete on a bomb to BeBe with man coverage, Nesbitt overthrew him, second down.

Gerhart is up up over 200 yards rushing, has 2 TDs rushing and 1 passing.

Likely to get three shots from inside the 5, as well.
