I don't why they decided to show the Giants game to the end. Wasn't there any cameras watching Favre stretch or something?

Tedd Ginn is off my shit list for one week. Miami beats the Jets home and away this season, that feels nice.

Why did Frank Gore only have 13 carries?

Okay, so the Texas are the second wild card in team in right now. Too bad for them they play the Colts next week. If they can beat the Colts once of their two games (two out of next three against Colts) they might be sitting okay for the playoffs.

I'm glad that the announcer didn't try to talk over the booing. Let it speak for itself.

Packers fans have no class.

Would the Bambino have gotten booed if he had came back to Yankee Stadium after signing with Atlanta when the Yanks no longer wanted him?

Haha what a surreal game. Booing Favre between every play? Favre cam? My whole reality has been modified by the first 7 minutes of this game.

I think this shows that they are a quality team and are a few pieces away from making a jump up the NFL ladder.

Most noticeably they need more O-Line help and a shift in play calling. You just can win regularly in the NFL trying to convert 3rd and 6 or 7 each drive after running into the D-Line for two yards and a cloud of dust.

Yep. You would think that they'd have opened it up a little bit given how Smith did last week. They didn't, except right before the half when Smith marched them down the field and scored in about 75 seconds. Then you'd think maybe they'll stick with that type of play calling in the second half. Nope. It's so frustrating because they have legitimate offensive weapons, but Singletary is too set on them being a smashmouth run team. The offensive line has been way too inconsistent for that to be successful.

Bottom line, they're not going to win many more games if they continue to run the offense like they have been. What makes it even more frustrating is the defense for the most part has been outstanding. They have the players to be a pretty decent team, but they need a shift in philosophy if they're going to right the ship.

No, but that's not exactly the same situation.

Now, if the Yankees moved on because Bambino couldn't make up his fucking mind and then he sought out to play for one of their biggest rivals then yes I think he'd hear some boos.

Childress is such a moron.

EXACT same situation as last week and he didn't go for it last week and that in a sense, may have cost them the game. He goes for it this time and it WILL pay off big time.

Quinn has some kind of clause in his contract that if he gets a percentage of the snaps this year ( 75% I think) that he gets an 11 million dollar bonus.

They were shit with Quinn and they can be shit without him, and not fuck themselves with the cap.

Favre had 2 turnovers that were returned for TDs last week! Any time you have a QB giving the ball to the other team and that team returns it for a TD happen twice in a game you are pretty much guaranteed to lose the game.

I'm sorry, but that is still fucking retarded. He can stick his hands out over the goal line even though he isn't in, the ball gets knocked away, but it doesn't matter, it's a touchdown and a dead ball?

I say this in the most sincere and honest way possible - I'm glad I'm not wasting hundreds of dollars every year on Sunday Ticket. I think I'd be even more pissed off at the retardedness of that rule if I were actively spending money on this sport.

Umm...

You obviously don't remember the situation where the Vikings had 2nd and Goal on the two yard line and failed to run it with Peterson and then kicked a afield goal from the one yard line which made it a tie game or a 1 point game... something that did not affect the outcome of that game at all. Going for the touchdown would have altered the outcome of last week's game BIG time.

Wow.

Okay, then stop watching football completely. The rule has been the same forever. The second the ball crosses the plane of the goal line, it's a touchdown, plain and simple. If you start to add little things into the rule like, "You must have possession for one full second while in the endzone" you would just cause a lot more problems than there are now.

Wow.

I hope you don't spend money watching any other level of football either. Once the ball breaks the plane, the play is dead, and it is a touchdown on any level of football.

The more I watch Rodgers, the more I think of one thing:

Rodgers is Rob Johnson with talent.

Johnson wasn't accurate at all. Had a strong arm. And took about 20 sacks a game. Rodgers is more accurate. He's much more mobile than people think.

He also takes a crapload of sacks. A lot of crap has been given to the OLine. (and deservadly so) But my God, how many of those sacks are his fault?

Take that 3rd and 1 sack he took earlier in the game. Nothing is there, he's outside of the pocket and he ate the ball. That is such a horrible play on so many levels:

1) If the Vikings jump offside on the punt, it's not a first down, you are still punting.
2) Anytime you take a hit, you take a chance of fumbling.
3) You piss off your OL.
4) You GIVE the other team 5+ yards of field position. It may not seem like a lot, but field position matters.

Someone needs to explain to him that in those situations, he needs to get rid of the football.
