Harbaugh has wasted timeouts and made stupid challenges throughout the season...he's challenged plays that had no chance of being overturned.

Not challenging the punt was unreal.

Like I said, this game is over. Just like the Pats were aided by a gift call in 2002, they'll be aided by a no-challenge here. In all honesty, the refs should have gotten the call right on the field, but to not challenge really shows this coach is horrible.

The press conference after this one will be awesome...and when they make it into a Coors Light commercial it will be even better. Go Harbaugh.

That first down measurement was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. The ref even thought it was funny.

I don't really like the idea of having to challenge. I'd rather the league QA their own games and try to get it right on every play, rather than rely on coaches to force them to review.

Would it be a bad idea to bench Moss? I mean he's not even trying.

He's never a waste. Just by being out there he opens up the field for other players to make plays.

He could just stand there and be an asset.

dola - The Colts have to be licking their chops at the Ravens. Their offense is absolutely horrible. I can't believe Flacco gets so much respect as a QB.

And how happy would the Chargers be to play the Jets and not the Pats?

Plenty of Blame to go around. The line has fucking sucked, the receviers have fucking sucked (I think at least two of the INTs were off tipped balls), and Brady has zero time or trust in his WR :P

+1

I can't believe the Ravens are content to run and kick field goals and punt. It's a 2 score game with an entire quarter left. I'd almost be shocked if the Patriots DIDN'T come back.

And the play calling for him is idiotic. Run, run, throw deep? Did Al Davis buy the team at halftime? There's no reason to take these shots down the field...dink and dunk and run will work and grind time.

Still, they have a chance here. FG does little, they need a TD

Yeah, I totally disagree with that, 16 point lead is so so much better than 13. Sure you'd prefer the TD but getting 3 points and forcing the pats to not only score twice without giving up any more points but also get two 2 point conversions... huge difference.

Oh well. It's been a not so horrible year.

Time to hope Welker's back for training camp.

The refs really didn't want to see the Ravens get extra points on this drive, eh?

Two bad calls against the Ravens, both challenged... hopefully on the 2 pt they have a good angle to actually overturn the call on the field.

It's funny to read this thread and know the Ravens are actually winning by 19. At a glance, one would swear the Pats were winning.

They'd better look for help on the offensive line. How many times did someone come in and completely disrupt the play a half second after the snap?

PATS ARE GOING TO WIN. How many times in this thread did we see that after a big Pats benefited play?

Everyone needs to realize this isn't the same Patriots team from their Super Bowl runs. They had a mystique then but it's pretty obvious to me this year they just don't have that mystique.

are you kidding?

he'll be AT LEAST 10-12 months...more realistic given his playing style is that he could be on the field in 1 year but won't be back to 100% for 2 years

What an odd game. I've never seen the Patriots look so bad on both sides of the ball. It was obvious the Ravens could only run, yet the Patriots couldn't slow them down much. Offensively they never could get on track, though you have to imagine that if Welker was there the Patriots kill the pressure with quick passes to him.

Still, I was expecting the Pats to pull it together. Ravens got lucky by being so conservative after getting the lead. They can't expect to go up 24-0 again next week.

Oh, I agree, but I've missed big chunks of the game (daughter sick) and that was just the one big thing that surprised me given this coaching staff. Moss running about 60%, RBs missing blitz pickup, Brady not seeing DBs, there's plenty of blame to go around, that was just the biggie that surprised me. Merriweather doesn't usually get faked out of his shorts like Rice did to him on that big TD run.

It was beautiful watching the Patriots get smacked around like that. The first quarter was one of the most enjoyable that didn't involve my own team I've seen in a long time. Baltimore made me nervous from that botched punt on with their conservatism and me thinking that the Pats offense might show up at one point, happily it didn't really.

Seriously.

Did anyone see the CBS postgame show? They had this retarded part ith Jared Fogle, where he was standing behind a table with two Subway sandwiches on it. Then he began talking about their respective fat contents and ingredients. What a shitty show this is.

Okay just about all the "experts" have picked the Packers-reminds me of last year right about this time doesn't it? Will be tough without Boldin, but they won a playoff game without him last year. Go Cards!
