Has anybody seen HB lately? His lineup is illegal again this week.

Hopefully everything's okay.

Must've missed this. Was my line-up illegal at some point?

Yeah, a couple of weeks ago you're lineup was illegal and gave me an easy win and the following week TLK fixed your lineup so that wouldn't happen again.

Didn't you hear your name over the intercom???

Playoffs
There are 3 brackets of Playoffs that will be used to determine Draft order selection for the next year:

Superbowl: Top team from each division (determined by record/head to head/division record/point total) and (2) Wild Card teams determined by Total points (then head to head/record). – None of these teams are eligible for the other brackets.
The Team with the best record (head to head/point total) will play the Wild Card team with the least points in the 1st round. The other two teams will play against one another (2nd division leader against least points wild card. The winners of the 1st round play for the Iberbowl; the losers play for the 9th pick order of the draft, the loser of that game gets the 10th pick order. The loser of the Iberbowl gets the 11th pick order, while the IberBowl champion gets the championship and the 12th pick order of the next year’s draft.

RookieBowl: Bottom team from each division (determined by record/head to head/ division record/point total) and (1) Kill Card team determined by Total points (then head to head/record). – The team with the worst record (head to head/point total) will play the Kill Card team in the 1st round. The Winners of the 1st round will play each other in the 2nd round to determine the winner of the RookieBowl– the Winner will have the 1st draft pick order, while the loser will receive the 2nd draft pick order. The Losers in the 1st round will play each other in the 2nd round, the winner will get the 3rd draft pick order, while the loser will get the 4th draft pick order for next years draft.

PrideBowl: The Final 4 teams will play for the PrideBowl championship (the 5th draft pick order). The teams will be matched up by having the team with the best record (head to head/point total) play the team with the worst record. The Winners of the 1st round will play each other in the 2nd round to determine the winner of the PrideBowl– the Winner will have the 5th draft pick order, while the loser will receive the 6th draft pick order. The Losers in the 1st round will play each other in the 2nd round, the winner will get the 7th draft pick order, while the loser will get the 8th draft pick order for next years draft.

Ah, so the division winners are in the playoffs, and then wild card is determined by the two teams with the highest total points? Record doesn't factor in at all?

Not sure how I feel about how the wildcard teams are determined.

I'm liking it right about now. But it does seem inconsistent with the rest of the playoffs.

Those were the rules from the start of the league. I'm not sure I like them either. I'll add playoff structure, as something to vote on after the year is over.

Last week of the season.

Looks like Vic's hero's will be a wildcard team with a .500 record.

We need to change that rule for next year I think.

Callous Dowboys vs. Shaka's Big Shooters

Rookie Bowl:

The Premature Ghost of Beano Cook vs. Biting Muchars
South Side Roughnecks vs. Rajun Cajuns

Pride Bowl:

Siddiqui Sillymen vs. All On Black

At first I didn't like the whole point thing. But now that I've scored high in two leagues I'm in (this and a money league), I'm re-thinking it. In the other league, I was 4th in points and missed out on the playoffs (6 teams), meanwhile a team that's had crazy luck and is over 200 points behind me is ranked 4th.

We'll have to revisit this, but maybe only count points if the record is close? Like a one-game difference or something? And one wild card from each division.

Personally, I think it's about wins...just like it is in the NFL. Use points as a tiebreaker if you must.

To play devil's advocate... in the NFL, you can prepare your offense and defense. In fantasy, you can't do shit against the "offense" of another team. I think Bill Simmons wrote about this in a column this year. That it would be a bigger achievement to go undefeated in a fantasy season because of that fact.

I guess I feel like the 7th best team in the AFC.

I know if I was in the other division I would be sailing through to the finals

The amount of points your team scores has nothing to do with your opponent, so even if you lose games because your opponent scores more than you, you can still make the playoffs in this league right now. I just scored more than you.

I'm thinking for next year, we should do record, then record against division, and then points.

And not just because that would have benefited me this season .

VH is looking strong (thanks to Brady's worst game of the year coming in HH's playoff game). For me it's up to The Big 3 to come through.

Yeah, David Garrard on my bench would have been a better play than Brady

Even if Westbrook had scored, I'd still be down 2 right now going into tomorrow night and VH with Chester Taylor. In the end, it came down to me saying "you know, no matter how bad the weather is in New York, Brady will still have a better game than Garrard against the Steelers, also in snow". Whoops.

Ironically I would've been greatly helped had I played Big Ben from the same game vs. Romo, who also had his worst fantasy game of the season. Now I need a pretty big game from (the Vikings') Adrian Peterson...

In my money keeper league I had a bye this week but I would've been faced with a similar decision...Brady, Favre, and Garrard...pick 2...and I would've likely taken Brady and Favre and would've lost.

Of course

Lost in the semifinal and scored more than enough to beat both of the finals teams. I think that means I followed up last season's 2nd place with a 3rd place. So close, yet so far.
