It wasn't released for the PS3 in the U.S. You'll likely need to get it on the 360. Otherwise it's called Red Seeds Profile and will cost you like $80. Not even sure if that version is in English.

Yeah, I'm looking for Red Seeds Profile. Read that it's very playable in English (minimal Japanese text once you set your language or something).

Might be a little late to the party - but I am really enjoying Castlevania Lords of Shadows.

Mortal Kombat is incredibly fun. Not sure I'd buy it but I am loving the hell out of it right now.

Slogging through the F:NV Sierra Madre DLC, mostly to entertain my son who wants to see how it ends but doesn't want to suffer through playing it himself.

Finally got all the potatoes from the Steam Potato Pack ARG, must do what I can to help Portal 2 release early.

For anyone who enjoyed Earth Defense Force 2017, they have a sequel coming out in July called Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. The first game was incredibly fun, especially if you had someone to play split-screen with. For those who don't know what it is, you basically run around with futuristic weapons that you have to earn killing swarms of bugs in all sorts of environments. Actually takes quite a bit of strategy and is much more fun than it sounds. |

If you enjoy picking your way through booby-traps, it's a blast (no pun intended). If you like looking for needles in haystacks (like a key that's essential to advancing the storyline quest) with no real clue given to where in the building it might be, it's probably a keeper. Otherwise, without the detailed walkthroughs in the unofficial Wiki, I'd deem this p.o.s. unplayable. Wait, that's not accurate. It isn't remotely unplayable, it's simply not any fun to play. It's one of those that things that you just really want to be finished with so the suffering can stop. Only thing as tedious in the DLC for 3 was Anchorage, easily the worst of an otherwise decent to pretty good bunch of DLC for it.

I'm curious how many copies of the Potato Pack they sold for participation in the ARG. I'd already owned all of the games except for the new Dejobaan game that released with the pack so I'm not sure if I would have bought it just for the ARG. They are great games and at a great deal though. I'm really hoping we can get the release moved up to Monday morning or afternoon since I have Monday off and work Tuesday this week. |

Traded in our wii and games and ordered a 40gb ps3.
Besides The Show, what games should I pick up that I wouldn't have on my x360? I'm sure there are some games that are pretty cheap that were ps exclusive titles? Uncharted? Killzone? Thanks! |

Uncharted 1 and 2 and Infamous are both musts. I would suggest the Reistance series over Killzone as the top FPS series that Sony owns. Mod Nation Racers is the best Kart racer I have ever played. God of War 3 is pretty self explanitory. Dont forget Demon Souls as a cult favorie RPG and Little Big Planet 2(you can forget 1 no story connection at all) is a great one too. Metal Gear Solid is on the PS3 as well if that suits your tastes. That should hold you over for a while but is really just the start of Sony exclusives.

I actually forgot about Valkyria Chronicles. I played the first twenty minutes of it trying it out. It was heavenly.

Either of the Buzz TV games are a fun option. We use it for parties and trivia night at the winery. Lots of fun if you have gatherings of friends to hang out. There's a lot of good PSN games available as well. Joe Danger is a hidden gem. |

Mizzou's recent purchase made me get the urge as well. I've been wanting one so I just ran to Wal-Mart and picked up a PS3. I wrote down the list of games you guys recommended, picked up The Show and will debate about what other games on the list to get. Valkyria sounded really interesting but neither Wal-Mart nor Gamestop had that one.
One game I remember hearing about awhile back and being extremely interested in was MAG. Did that turn out shitty? |

Sat down last night about 8:30 to play "just a little" bit of Torchlight on 360. I'd played a little in the afternoon, wasn't sure it was for me. Yeah, next time I looked at the clock, it was 12:30. My normal bedtime is close to 10. It was surprising.

I have the new Tiger Woods game and love using the Move controller with that. The Show also uses Move with good accuracy. If you have any kids, Eye Pet is a good Move game. My four year old loves it. Heavy Rain is another game that I haven't seen mentioned. Really good game and definitely different than any other game. |

It's a good age for that game. My four year old loves it, but needs a lot of guidance. There's also a good chunk of DLC that is free on PSN for EyePet, so be sure to pick that up as well. |

One other comment on the Dead Money DLC for F:NV.
Outside of the tedious game play, the storyline itself isn't bad IMO. The use of characters that have been referenced elsewhere in the game is a nice touch and I even appreciated the foreshadowing of the next DLC that was included in one bit of dialogue (I suspect there's more of those but I've only encountered it once so far that I realized).

Only a couple of hours in and I'm already loving Portal 2. Some cool new mechanics, and I'm still scratching the surface. Graphics and humor are top notch.

I've been absolutely loving the campaign and I just got done with some coop which was awesome too. Plus I just found out that for getting all 36 potatoes I got a copy of the Valve Complete Pack with extra copies giftable plus an extra copy of Portal 2 to give to a friend. |

With multiplayer I think there will be some replay value, plus it wouldn't surprise me if Valve added challenge maps like there were in the original at some point. I did get a couple playthroughs out of the original Portal, and even if I don't with Portal 2 the campaign is still by far one of the best single player experiences there is. |

I'm with them. I've done the original Portal at least three times now, and I'm certain that this one will end up being the same way.
I think that Valve is my favorite video game developer. Their games just scream quality the entire way through. |

Way too repetitive for me, too much of a grinder feel ... but to each their own of course.
