BTW, is it just me, or is this one of the most entertaining football games in the past 5 years or so (along with ND/USC and OSU/Texas from earlier this year)?????????

Yep, he's down though. Another bone-headed pitch, but, it pays off like Bush's could have.

Well, the no-review allows for the extra point to be missed though! LOL

This could be huge. One because the TD should have come off... but I wonder how much of the rushing of the XP had to do with that miss.

Uh, the lost the ball type comments are exactly what I am talking about. The guy is clueless. Maybe Young was down, but he definitely pitched the ball. This was very obvious with the naked eye.

Let's call in the fix by the refs now. Reviewing the 2 calls against USC within seconds, don't even do this one.

I'm pretty sure Vince Young just did that to try to rub in the failed Bush attempt.

I'm not saying he's accurate (and I certainly appeciate someone who calls the details well), but in a big game like this where I'm watching more for the atmosphere than anything else, and he's great in that regard I think!

Wow.. At some point though, Texas won't keep getting the breaks.

Recovered fumbles, USC miscues in UT territory, a TD that was not a TD for the 'Horns.

For now though, they lead..

He was down, can't deny that. The pitch itself was certainly fine though.

I think we are headed for another 2nd half USC ass-whooping.

This is how they have played so many games this season. Sloppy first half followed by a dominant 2nd half.

I think both teams have gotten an even number of breaks now, although Texas is now +1 in the referee assistance department.

We need to put some distance on these guys before the half.

Texas definitely could use another score before the half, as we all know what USC is capable of in the second stanza. I think they could possible come back from 20 down against the Patriots.

One thing that I find interesting is the fact that Texas hasn't even played for the National Title in ages.

I mean they are THE school in arguably the best HS football state in America. Why has it taken them so long (and forget about the Mack Brown coming close years, I'm talking prior to that).
