IF this is Barber, perhaps the "answer" to the second part is here. Ronde & Tiki Barber

Is it really possible that we have such a long list of football name puns, and there's nothing for "Alge Crumpler"?

It just occured to me that "Attractive Copenhagen native" is probably not Ron Dayne, but instead Dane Looker.

So the ones that we have no clue about so far are...
Sutton quote targets. Endless data. (Quik's favorite) Bald headed comic kid. (Gotta have something to do with Charlie Brown) '63 charger. A score cwt of fish... Lucky female cat..

This may be a stretch, but:
A score cwt of fish... == Joey Harrington (score cwt can be seen as 20 hundred pounds, or 2000 pounds, or a ton)

Okay, anybody want a REAL stretch here? Note the "..." at the ends of some of the phrases. I'm sure some of you know that that's called an ellipsis. They're often found at the end of a list of seemingly endless data. Any chance that the "endless data" clue refers to Matt Lepsis? "Lepsis" kinda sounds like "ellipsis." I realize that I'm stretching it a little, but I can't come up with anything else.

1863 was the year of Pickett's charge at Gettysburg

Yes, but only one is a Center. A little double entendre perhaps?

If this is anything like QS's music title puzzles, we will probably have to take the initials of the players, or the fist letter of the last name to spell something out. Maybe even the first letters of the cities the players play in, or the first letter of the teams "mascot". I'm guessing that phrase will be missing an ampersand. Or perhaps there will be some theme woven amongst the players. I'm not sure. I've been focusing on getting all the clues first. I figure if we're lost after that, QS might offer a little guidance.

Famously of San Francisco. - ???Gates, Rice, Bay, Chowdah, what is SF famous for?
*jingle* Rice-a-roni. The San Francisco treat. *end jingle* I'd say this one is most likely Jerry Rice. Deck from Love Boat. - ???Lito Sheppard, Marco Rivera - there's a Lido, Aloha, Fiesta and a Riviera deck on the Love Boat. Lito Sheppard seems the most likely candidate. Riviera is a possible fit, but Lito Sheppard is a more recognizable name, and Quik possibly would have used "French Vacation Spot" or something if it were Marco. Plus, I think Quik would have jumped at the chance to link Lito Sheppard to the Love Boat.
