That's debatable, I think the offense has had a concussion for the last 3 weeks.

Not mentally they aren't. This game showed more than any game this year, they are still the same Bengals. Undisciplined with false start and delay of game penalties. Not capitalizing on gift wrapped touchdowns. Not making field goals again. And then turning the ball over like that which they rarely do.

Mark it down...they'll win their next two and lose their last four to finish 9-7. Lose the division and lose out on the wildcard because of losses to Denver, Houston, and San Diego.

Oh and speaking of Pitt, I have Warner on one of my fantasy teams, his backup? Yep Big Ben. Just great.

I havent read anywhere that it was serious. Probably just being overly cautious because they were playing the Rams.

I had been happy that Vick wasn't doing much. I still don't know if I should be happy about that gain.

I actually thought there should have been 15 tacked on to the end of the Vick run....via a facemask.

I wonder if there is a way to gameplan for the only decent part of your team when its special teams.

Wasn't being a dick. It was just obvious that he didn't know much about the team, from the player names to the team composition. On the other hand, you'd have a hard time blaming Lorenzo/Jamaal on a typo.

Really?

If you weren't being a dick you wouldn't have corrected him on the misspelling of Cassels name by 1 letter.

If you are going to be a dick at least have the balls to admit it.

It would be awesome if you would admit you were wrong when you are... you know? Wrong. Like I did when I admitted that I didn't watch the Chiefs often.

You said Matt Cassel won the game with arm. I pointed out that three other people were responsible for the majority of the Chiefs points and, rather than acknowledging that, you are hung up on me adding an extra "l" to the QBs name and mistaking the first name of one obscure athlete with another obscure athlete.

I didn't comment on the team's composition beyond saying that their lines did a good job today against a team with a very good defense and a pretty decent o-line and that I was not impressed with Cassel for what he cost them in both salary/bonus and draft pick-wise. If it weren't for Chris Chambers (who took a 7-yard catch and broke it for 61 and got 15-yards behind the DBs, but had to wait for Cassel's laughable rainbow to make a great leaping catch for 40 more), he would have been pretty useless today. If you and the messageboard you read for "insider info" think the team is happy with him, that is fine. Maybe he'll develop, he is still very inexperienced, but I still think he is a below average starting QB in the NFL right now.

I know I'm late, but Matt Stafford is a tough SOB. I'm impressed with him coming back in at the end, basically telling the trainers and coaching staff to get the fuck out of the way. For a first overall player to care that much, that's pretty damned impressive.

I wasn't really in his camp before, but I'm actually thinking he was a good pick now.

Count me impressed by that as well. I thought he was going to be a bust, but that kind of toughness makes me think that he'll make good on his physical gifts if the Lions can get some talent around him.

This game tonight is depressing. The Eagles aren't nearly as good as I thought they would be before the season started. I knew their defense was going to have problems with the youth/lack of talent at linebacker, but I thought this offense would be more consistently explosive than it has been.

Pats beat the Saints next week. Saints havent been playing their best ball the past 3-4 weeks. New England is playing like the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league right now. Plus Viking backers need someone to beat them.

Does anyone know what the homefield tiebreaker is after conference record?

They are really limited without Westbrook. Reid has turned too gimmicky as well. He tries overcoaching and it is killing their offense.

start rant

It really, really, really, really, really is starting to annoy me when, after a fumble where it is clear that one team has recovered it, the other team will still start pointing in the other direction adamently as if they recovered it.

Same thing goes with players on both sides signaling "no first down" or "first down". I know that they don't get the great view of the play that we do, but some of these are not even close at all by a sideline view.

/rant
