Wow. This thread went from the husband of the PMRC (which still sucks by the way) getting the Nobel Prize to homosexuality.

Synopsis of this thread:

Political zombie #1- "The grass is green."

Political zombie #2 - "No it's not. It's greenish, and sometimes blue"

Political zombie #3 - "Water is wet."

Political zombie #4 - "No it's not. It's liquidy."

Political zombie #5 - "You're a doodoo head, because you don't agree with my black and white take on the world."

Political zombie #6 - "You're mean. I'm going home."

This is true in the same way that it is true that Christians should stone adulterous women to death.

You speak of Jewish law, Christians have never advocated 'stoning to death', at least not based on the Bible. Seem to remember a story about Jesus intervening to save a woman about to be 'stoned to death.' You find amazing things in the Bible about Christ and Christians when you actually read it.

*Bubba, I agree with you about that obviously, but I wish you dunderheads would stop bringing religion into political threads. It has no business here, and it makes more serious, less political, less secular, and less vocal followers of Christ look like frauds and half-wits.

FWIW Schmidty, those of us who do not agree (on pojnts above) can see a very clear and significant difference between gentlemen like you and the half-wits.

So....

Christians who take a line out of the Koran out of context to make a point = right.

Others who take a like out of the Bible out of context to make a point = wrong.

Thank for the lesson, hypocrites.

I assume you're not refering to all Christians, and just dudes like Bubba. Just making sure.

Be careful. Some would say the thread was created that way. There is no such thing as devolution.

Ok, enlighten me on how the Koran one was 'out of context.' Cause when I admittedly don't read something I at least get a point-of-view from sources that have actually done that. Point being many like you seem to get your references on the Bible and Christianity from others who also have not read or studied the subject.

Really, I know you can't so I don't even expect an answer. I don't think you study, even casually, either the Bible or the Koran.
