UT-Austin will be coming to El Paso next year to play the Miners as well. And the Sun Bowl is anything but a new stadium...

Touchdown UCF. 7-3 Central Florida with 6:01 in the 1st quarter. Sure, it's early. But....wow.

Oh I get it. They've got a new stadium. I remember reading about this last year or something. But..still.

That'll probably be a pseudo-home game for Texas, sort of like LSU @ Tulane.

El Paso ain't anywhere near Austin. The crowd is going to be a proper shade of orange, not that burnt shit.

Rice goes for it on 4th and 3 inside the 20 and scores a TD to make it 14-10 Tech. The Owls are hanging tough so far...

Yeah, but Rutgers plays NOBODY. And I'm a fan. But Buffalo and Norfolk State? That's a glorified scrimmage.

My bad. I forgot that Locker redshirted. But it's still looking like Ty's got the better QB.

But I get what you're saying. I was just thinking it'd be cool to be a fan of a team that actually plays lots of home games like that.

I guess I knew Locker was a redshirt, but still. You think Charlie wouldn't press so bad with having Claussen in right now. It might be a good experience for him down the road. But this year? No way.

And that new stadium UCF is generic looking, but it's kinda cool that they could get the money together to build a decent sized park. It gets pretty loud and I guess I didn't realize how big the school was.

TD Rice. 21-17 Tech. I certainly wasn't expecting Rice to put up this much of a fight, even though the game is in Houston.

I can't get enough of watching Locker play. One of the most entertaining college QB's in a long time.

Poor decision by Washington. To say the least.

Meanwhile, 14-yard run by Central Florida and a penalty on Texas for a late hit. 10-7 Texas, but..Central Florida isn't rolling over.

Washington better realize that they're playing a team that will beat their ass if they let them. You can't be at home, score no points and expect to stay in the game long-term.

I hate Texas Tech with a flaming passion, but I have to admit that freshman WR Michael Crabtree is a motherfucking STUD. Midway through the second quarter and he already has 5 catches for 171 yards and a TD.

Wow, ISU down inside the 20, less than 2:00 to play. Very lucky pass and catch on that last play.

Perhaps Washington should try and recruit guys who actually know how to catch....they can play some in the secondary and some at WR.

Iowa almost returned the kickoff, but didn't quite get there (surprised no attempt at a lateral). Iowa State wins. Big win for them.

Can I get a quick recap of how Michigan got to 24-0?

I had set the recorder to record the game, knowing I'd be about and hour late (Saturday class) For some reason, the recorder recorded five seconds... so I missed the entire 1st quarter.

Good God, Notre Dame is horrible. Don't get me wrong, I knew they were bad. But so is the Michigan defense.

Tennessee is actually going toe to toe with Florida, but they aren't capitalizing like they need to to win the game.

Ohio St. is very lucky the officiating has went the way it has. They should be losing the game right now. Lockler and Tebow are incredibly fun to watch.

What the hell is wrong with Texas? They used to destroy teams like this. Not after struggling a quarter or a half, they used to just pound them. The OU/Texas game is going to get really ugly this year.

Ohio St. continues to get every call. Three plays ago they were offside with no call. They then hit Lockler in the head, no call. Then they do catch the Huskies movement. (a good call, but when you are missing them for the other team, you should be consistent) Washington continuing the drive anyway.
